"How's your shoulder?" Y/n asked Renjun who was sitting on the sofa right now. The boy smiled and shook his head, "it's fine, no need to worry".
Mark is very angry, I mean..come on, He's the oldest in this group and there's no way he could just sit back and watch his friend being treated like that.
but after he saw Renjun's condition, he had to restrain himself from hitting Jaehyun's handsome face.
After the incident, Mark immediately massaged Renjun's shoulder so the boy won't be hurt anymore.
"I'm going to my room now, if there's something you need..call me, Jaemin, or Jeno, okay?" After saying that Mark got up from his seat and walked up the stairs to go to his room.

speaking about Jaemin and Jeno, it seems that they are not in a good mood so they go somewhere else in the house to calm themselves down.
not much different from Jisung here, he hasn't spoken at all and still looks very mad.
then Chenle and Haechan came with a few glasses of water in their hand.
after giving the glasses to their friends They took a seat next to Jisung.

Y/n's Pov

I smiled hearing Haechan and Jisung's small conversation.
they did make a mistake, but Jaehyun went too far to push Renjun like that, and I'm not going to lie I was pretty pissed off too before
But now I feel relieved that the problem has been resolved and I hope they don't get in a fight again.

I got up from my seat and took the glass that I had put on the table
"Where are you going?" Renjun asked, "I want to find my brother first and taking a rest while it's going to rain again" I answered.

then they looked at each other, even Jisung who hadn't spoken much earlier also saw me with a suspicious smile?...
Chenle pointed at me "do you want to rest...", "...or do you want to meet Jeno Hyung" Jisung continued.

for a moment I just stayed silent and my brain tried to respond to what they said.....

still with that stupid face, Haechan said "We all know that Jeno likes you, I'm sure you feel the same way, don't you?".
I can feel my ears heating up and I'm sure soon my face will turn red too.

they laughed and mocked me for not being able to answer anything, turns out they seem to realize Jeno's behavior that changes when I'm around.

they were right tho, lately I feel like Jeno has always been sweet to me, starting from caring for me when I'm sick, he cheers me up when I'm tired from college, even skinship that suddenly comes every day, it's like...He's always there for me even when I don't ask him... But I don't know, I'm also confused about how to respond to him now.

I rolled my eyes and snorted in annoyance "knock it off boys, Jeno doesn't like me and that's impossible.
now you guys take a rest and tonight it's y'all's turn to help me cook dinner"
they raised their thumbs together in response, then I walked away from them to do what I wanted.

After washing the glass in the kitchen, I went up to the second floor and walked slowly.
I looked at my watch and It's still half past noon but, boy...it's been a tiring day for me, so the best option now is to take a nap.
but before that I have to find Nana first, I hope the two of them are in the room and not going anywhere so I won't waste any more energy looking for them.

Author's Pov

After Y/N left, things went quiet again. they all leaned back on the sofa and rested their eyes.
Then the sound of the rain falling again and getting heavier every second, the air is also getting colder and dew is starting to show on the windows.
this made Haechan open his eyes and blankly look up at the living room ceiling, he couldn't rest at all right now due to the guilt that filled his mind. Renjun was in pain and Jisung almost got into a fight, this made Haechan feel that it was because of him that they were in trouble.

he then faced Jisung who was on his right and seems to be sleeping. "Jisung-ah ..." he called, Jisung opened his eyes "waeyo Hyung?".
"I am sorry again". Jisung's brow furrowed in confusion "for what?"
Haechan then looked back at the ceiling, "you know why..." he said in a trembling voice.
For a moment Jisung just looked at Haechan and he realized that his Hyung was not okay, he immediately patted Haechan's shoulder and shook his head, "It's not your fault Hyung..really".
"Jisung's right, they're just overreacting" Renjun continued, Chenle who hadn't slept either said, "so stop blaming yourself okay? because you didn't do anything wrong".
Haechan is now relieved, and he smiles while nodding his head as an answer even though he still feels kinda guilty
"You're right..but don't you think we overdid it?", Haechan said.

Renjun who looked annoyed because Haechan was still blaming himself rolled his eyes, "We once broke the campus equipment room window just to return a speaker and even Mr. Lee Thanked us for it. So they should be thanking us too for our efforts, that ladders are so heavy!"
he says in a loud voice.
"That's what I said, they overreacting" says Jisung who also agreed with Renjun.

"But isn't that weird?"

they all turned their heads to chenle who suddenly speaks and gave him a what-do-you-mean look.
Chenle then speaks again, "I mean You guys haven't entered their backyard and didn't even get to see anything, right?
But why are they so angry?.....

they are hiding something...

Haechan looked confused and laughed sarcastically, "Really, Chenle? Then what do you think they are hiding?"
"I don't know! it could be something" Chenle replied while shrugging his shoulders.

neither of them spoke again and they returned with their thoughts.
but deep down they know what Chenle said is true, their neighbor's behavior was very strange and suspicious.
then they stare at each other, waiting for someones to speak.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" asked Chenle whose eyes were fixed on Jisung. a smirk plastered on jisung's face, they both stood up and high-fived each other.

"Are you serious?" Renjun said looking worried at them, but Jisung smiled even more "Of course, who knows they are selling a drug or illegal weapon! Whatever it is we have to know it!" Haechan Hyung, you just stay here with Renjun Hyung okay?"
but then Haechan stood up instead, "no. I'm going with you" he said even though he was a little hesitant.
In the middle of the heavy rain, they could hear the sound of the car engine running, suddenly they all got up and peeks through the window. they see Taeyong and his friends are now leaving again, this makes Jisung and Chenle even more excited.
"Come on! Renjun Hyung you watch over us from here" he shouted.
Renjun couldn't refuse and just obeyed his Dongsaeng's wish.
as the sound of the car started to drive away Chenle, Jisung, and Haechan walked towards the front door while Renjun sat by the window to watch them, "Be Careful!" Renjun said, not tired of reminding them. after the door closed he leaned back on the chair and sighed "you guys are crazy" he talks to himself.
