Hey. So there's a lot of dialogue in this chappy and I'm so sorry I haven't updated in like forever. Anyways here it is....

Kellin's P.O.V

As the month went on, Vic's grade plummeted to an all time low. I couldn't get him to pay attention in class or do his work. Worst of all, he seemed really depressed. Because I was a guidance councilor in the past, I decided to look into the situation. Ever since that afternoon when he fell in the hall, he just hasn't been the same.

Once the bell rang, I found myself once again, keeping Vic after class. Everyone filed out and I called out to him. "Vic can I speak to you for a second?" I asked. He gave me a confused look but then nodded silently. "Vic, I'm not sure what's going on, but you seem different lately. Is something up?" I asked.

He nodded his head yes, but even I could see the tears that filled his eyes.

"Hey...you don't have to talk if you don't want..." I whispered.

"I...I..just..." that's when he burst into tears. I walked over and placed my hand on top of his to comfort him, but he snatched his hand back and scooted away quickly. "Sorry" he muttered.

"It's okay, Vic. Um...how are you today?" I felt like an idiot as soon as I asked it. He obviously didn't have a good day, idiot. Come on Kells.

"I'm...uh....I..." he started, taking big pauses between his words. I tried to take a step towards him, but he backed away again.

"Look, Vic, I'm trying to help you, okay? I'm not going to hurt you or anything."

That's when he started to respond. "You're not going to hurt me?" he asked. Then looked up surprised.

"Why would I?" I asked, highly confused by now.

"Well, that's what everyone else does." he answered and went quiet again.

I didn't know what was going on, but everything I saw led to my thinking that he was being abused. "Is um everything alright at home? You and your parents...you have an okay relationship?"

"This has nothing to do with them." he snapped. "Why is everything about parents? I could be screaming at the top of my lungs telling the world that I need someone to talk to, and it always goes back to 'Oh your mom got a new job.' 'Oh your dad left?' 'Oh poor child has one parent'...well guess what? I have feelings, you know?! Like hello my name is Vic. Nice to know you noticed me standing here" he let out all on one breath.

"I know you're here...I care about you, Vic." I said quietly to him.

"You do?" he asked.

"Of course, and I have noticed lately that you haven't...uh been yourself." He nodded in agreement, wiped his tears, and began talking.

"I um...walked in on my boy---ex boyfriend...um cheating on me..." he said to me. Suddenly, I was so angry. I was trying hard to suppress the anger, but it got hard. Why would someone cheat on someone as sweet and perfect and---no snap out of it, Kellin. He's your student. Regardless I couldn't keep myself from being angry and I think Vic could tell. "Are you okay?" he asked after a few seconds of silence.

Instead of answering, I just asked, "Why would Oliver do that?"

"I don't really know, Mr. Quinn." he answered. I knew that Oliver had to be on something or just be plain stupid to cheat on Vic. Even if I didn't secretly admire him, I would still think so.

I wanted to change the subject because he looked like he was going to start crying again. "Are you going on the senior class trip next week?" I asked.

He looked down and replied. "I don't really have the money to go on the trip..." he answered.

I was kinda disappointed because this thing would be really fun and might be a way for him to forget about everything that's going on right now. The students are going to Disney world this year. They have been looking forward to this literally all year. I am proud to say that I have been chosen to chaperon the whole thing. I usually get stuck at the school with the kids who can't go on the trips or can't afford it.

An idea popped into my head. What if I payed for Vic to go? No one would need to know.

"What if there were a way that would enable for you to be able to go?" I asked.

He answered with, "I would probably go, then I guess?"

"Then it's settled. I'm going to pay for you to go." I stated.

"What???" he asked, obviously surprised.

"I want to pay for you to go." I answered.

"I don't think that's a good id--"he started before being cut off by me. "I think it's a great idea." I stated.

At that moment, I knew that I would do anything for Vic. I knew that me paying for him to go to Disney was the first of many things I would do for him if he asked. Even if he was my student, I knew that I had some sort of unspoken connection with him and I would stop at nothing to make him happy.
