Chapter 79

"Wake her up."

SPLASH!

   Amelia had been in the dark place for so many days. Her body starts to turn very weak and it makes her fainted a lot. The next thing she knows, she was being splashed by cold water. Her body shaking terribly. When she opens her eyes, she quickly close back to adjust her eyes to the light.

"How do you feel, Amelia?" A very hoarse voice echo in the room.

   Amelia's hand was chain up and she was kneeling on the floor. She blinks her eyes to focus her eyesight, and she saw a man, wearing a big black cape. He was sitting not far from her.

"Leo." Amelia whisper. Her throat is dry and it hurt so much when she tried to talk.

"Your healing ability is already gone, huh? So pity. So much had gone..." Leo smirk.

    There are many things Amelia wanted to say and to asks but her throat is too dry. She can't even swallow her own saliva. She can only stare at the man. The man has blonde hair and his eyes were dark. There a thick dark circle around his eyes. And he has a bad complexion.

"I heard you were searching for your own race. Want to know?" There a smirk on his lips.

   Amelia couldn't answer him, she could only listen and stare.

"Let's just say, we do not belong to this world."

    He stands up and walks slowly toward Amelia. He looks down to stare at her for a long time. Then there are full of hate shows in his eyes. He suddenly looks away and laughs out loud.

"I have been seeing that face many times but I couldn't find any trace of her..." There a madness comes from his voice.

"You looks just like that bastard." He lifts his hand and Amelia could feel she was being slapped. Her lips had already crack of dryness, so with the sudden movement, her lips torn more and bleed.

"Back then, it was very harmonious. I come from the best family, good friends and... I have the one I love. I trust them so much. I wanted a peaceful world. I wanted to stop the war. But they didn't agree with me. What's wrong wanted an eternity of peace world??? Right?"

"Your father." He shakes his head while smirking. "He was the only friend that supports me, while we were doing our mission, he suddenly stops. He withdraws himself from our team. The next thing I know, he gets married to my loved one."

    Amelia's heartbeat races as it is her first time heard about her own father.

"Your mother had promised to be with me forever. But he just left me like that. It broke my heart. So bad. I know I should move on and so I move on. I promise myself that I will prove to them that I can make world peace. I almost there. Just a little bit more for me to destroy our enemy world. A little bit more! You know what happens next?"

   Amelia could feel there a strong wind surrounded the room. Even chairs and tables fall down with the sudden wind in the room.

"They stopped me and claimed something bullshit that I violate the law of nature. Your father captures me and charges me as a betrayer. Hahahaha. Do you know how they punished me??? They destroy my stone of life. My own stone! Do you know what is that means???"

"A mortal life! What is mean a mortal life??? It's mean death!" 

"I work so hard for our peaceful world. The next thing I got is betrayal from my friends and betrayal of my people." Suddenly he laughs again. He laughs hysterically.

"You saw this?" He walks toward Amelia and shows the ring on his finger.

   The ring with a dark stone. The stone looks so dark and the flower on it had almost withered.

"Mine was destroyed, but do you know whose stone of life is this?"

"It is your father's." He laughs again.

"I had been tolerated too much and I know I can't do it again. Before they could banish me to this world. I kidnapped you. The newborn baby. To lure him out. Hahahaha. We were best friends so I know his weakness. And he is a fool, thinking that he can beat me alone. I took his life and replace his stone life for myself. It's hard at first, but, see where I am now? Still alive and strong! Right? Unfortunately, it took many things to restore the stone."

"Well... it isn't mine, it needs to be feed with many of life before I could use it... If only I find your stone... I could just use yours without killing other planets..."

    There is too much information she received. She feels weird hearing that she used to have a mother and father. It is quite painful too when this crazy old man blabbed about killing her father. There is too much emotion running around her heart but what is more important now is the present. The world where she lives in and she loves one.

"I-Is that why you made me pregnant with the experiment? Y-You want the stone from my child?" Amelia was very angry to listen to this madness, she forces some words to talk to him. She already knows about this but to hear the confession makes it harder for her to accept.

"You make me want to do that. You didn't agree for me to use another planet and restore the stone of life. So I could just use you. You are gonna die anyway, it is more convenient. Win-win situation. I am very happy to hear you have triplets. Such three stones of life can extend hundreds of thousands of years. But, they are too young right now. Have to wait a few more years, and the stone will full with their vitality." Leo said happily. He has a scary grin on his face. 

    Amelia swore a lot on her heart. If there is no chain around her, she wanted to punch this old man so hard. 

"D-Didn't you say you want peace world? But you are the one destroy the world now." Her voice is still husky. It hurts so much but she ignores the pain.

"Its not my fault. They start it first. I just can't give up my own life just like that. You already working with me for many years. I taught you many things. However, you just the same as your father. You stop in the middle too and wanted to betray me." 

   Amelia still didn't remember what had happened while she is on a human planet. But she can guess, Amelia gulps her saliva and talk. "Because what you do is wrong. You wanted to destroy the entire planet."

    Suddenly Amelia was lifted up, she can feel there are something grab her neck and choke her. Leo has his hand lift in the air, it is like he was choking someone.

"That damn words again." An angry growl comes from Leo. "You and your father are just the same. I don't understand why Halina chooses him."

"I wanted to keep you for a while, to let you see how the restoration of the stone works. I wanted to give you a chance and to see how we could live longer and together destroy our enemy. However... I don't think I have any patience anymore with this silly face. Even I had to wipe your memory again and again, you could never change. I will just kill you."

    Leo tightens his hand. Choking Amelia with a lot of force. He vents all of his anger into Amelia's neck. Amelia could not even cough his eyes turns wider and wider, with her hand being chain, she could not do anything. The feeling of pain of choked and the pain of not have any air to breathe finally consumed her.
