Chapter 3 : Behind the water stream

Pov: Ava

After many hours at the cafe, I left to go back home. I smelt the aroma of all kinds of flowers and plants. It was very relaxing to me and calming.

I twisted the key and opened the door of my home. My feet immediately went to the kitchen. I started preparing stuff for the picnic. I wanted to go into the forest and go to a special place and eat some delicious food. So I went making sandwiches to macaroons to the mango milkshakes. I put them all in this cute little basket that was made out of the wool of sheep.

I changed myself into a floral dress that was dark green and got my way into the forest. The animals were just enjoying everything around them. From the berries the nature provided and the little rivers the mountains created over time. After 5 minutes of walking, I found this waterfall. It was little but also not that little. It has this beautiful greenery around it and the water was baby blue.

I layed myself on the grass while letting my whole body relax. It felt like nature called me to lay down and feel at home. I opened my eyes and took some of the food out of the basket and took a look at the water falling from the mountains. I closed my eyes once more before after a couple of minutes hearing sniffing. My eyes opened as fast as lightning and I found a tiny fox with beautiful orange fur.

It layed on my lap while looking at me with his big cute eyes. I smiled while patting the creature. Then I heard screaming. It was behind the waterfall. There was a place there??

I was surprised but without hesitation went into the waterfall and stepped my way into the unknown. Air is all I felt around me until seeing nothing but purple leaves. What is this??? I could not question myself much more as I heard the scream of a little girl still there. I run my way to the screaming voice and saw a little girl being towered over by a big... bird???. I don't know what happened but I stood in front of the big bird protecting the girl. The bird's head went to me. I closed my eyes afraid of what will come but nothing happened. The bird was licking me???. I laughed feeling the ticklish sensation on my face. "Nice to see you back Princess Ava" my eyes went wide ass hell. Prin-cess???WHAT. I looked at the little girl and she had the biggest smile on her face like she just won the lottery. "Miss is your name, Ava??". She asked with her small voice. I nodded not knowing what was going on.

She screamed before taking my hand and bringing me somewhere. Then I saw this beautiful village. It was amazing. I could not believe what was happening to me. It felt like a dream to me. We went past all the houses before ending at the tree that was in the middle of the village. She .. OPENED A FREAKING DOOR INSIDE THE TREE, THAT WAS ALWAYS THERE???!. She giggled at my shocked face before leading me into the building. "LADY EVELYN!!!!" My whole body jumped at her voice. "Sweety can you not-----" An elderly woman stopped in front of me. Her eyes showed so much. I felt like something was connecting dots for me. "Hello miss, my name is Ava....Can you tell me where I am?" I asked her politely. Tears came into the poor lady's eyes. I looked at her while saying "are you, ok miss??". She smiled while the tears were still rolling down her face.

She took my hand and made me sit beside her on the big couch in the living room I assumed. "My name is Evelyn I am the queen" I was shocked and even more confused at this point.

"I don't know how I should explain this but I am your grandmother honey. My whole world stopped. She is my grandmother."Where are my parents! why did I not stay why---" She put a finger on my lips and smiled? "It's a long story, my dear, sadly I do not have enough time to tell you. I will give you something instead" She handed me a small bottle with a blue liquid in it. "Drink it, it will explain everything" and before I knew it I drank the whole bottle of the unknown drink. My head became dizzy before falling asleep.
