PAIGE WAS NEXT TO THE FISH POND CHEWING GUM AND THROWING A BASEBALL UP AND DOWN.
Mud sat next to the girl by the pond.
"Mud I know its been a while but do you remember when I said I wanted to go to the big leagues for softball or baseball."
"Yeah why?"
"Well i just thought that maybe I do have a chance to make it to the big leagues."
"She didn't but you know Society back in the 60s. But I just gotta get good. Move to Lakewater Utah." Paige said as a joke laughing.
"Yeah. Even tho Lakewater isn't that far you know." Mud responded.
"You're right. I have family there maybe I'll go visit sometime after summer."
"That would be cool."
"They have a baseball field there. Even though she would never step foot in a baseball field. I think shes a lifeguard?" Paige tells her story of what she knows about her cousin Wendy.
"Whats her full name?"
"Wendy Peffercorn." She goes by her mom's last name. They're not divorced just likes it better.
"Well Mud we should head back to camp."

"READY FOR DINNER CHILDREN?" Asked Dennis as for he it was a "date".
"Really?" Paige asked. They were really gonna have to do this.
"Ready."
"All right. Hand-held video game, downstage right on the couch. Mitt and comic books here." Dennis said as he Mud, and Paige were putting decoys to make it seem like their house was a family house.
"Great! This is great showing that girls can play sports too." Dennis said. Paige smiled knowing he was okay with girls doing "boy" things.
"More comics?"
"They're mine." Mud speaks up.
"I thought you were a 62 year old in a boys body."
"Well, I have to hide them at home."
"His dad would say something stupid like Morris you're too smart to read comic books. Just real stupid." Paige says as she knows what Morris father would tell him if the older man knew about the Comics.
"Mud remember Mud, just because you're smart doesn't mean you can't act stupid." Dennis says. Thats a great way to put it.
"And Paige, just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can do things boys can do and maybe better."
