Part 34-Nightmares and cuddles

Eriks POV:
After I heard Lyle going to bed I was still up deep in my own thoughts trying to deal with everything. I wish I could say I am happy or thankful I survived but I am not. If Y/n cant be happy again, I will also not be able to. When I realized by looking at the clock it was already 1am, I cleaned up and went to Y/ns room to check up on her. She was sleeping but I saw a worried look on her face probably caused bc of a nightmare so I laid next to her and she snuggled into my chest. Just a few seconds later I drifted off to sleep.
A few hours later*
I woke up again by hearing Y/n screaming like she was in the worst pain ever. I quickly got up and started shaking her so she could wake up. Just a few seconds later she opened her eyes and the tears started running down her cheeks. „Shhh its okay...I am here...I am protecting you..." She sniffed and pulled me closer. „I love you Erik" A smiled spread across my face and I laid next to her pulling her on my chest so she was comfortable. „I love you too Y/n. I love you to the fucking moon and back!" We both started giggling and then she slowly connected her lips with mine. After a few seconds she broke the kiss and kissed my bare chest. „What was the nightmare about?" She quickly stopped and turned away from me. This question came out without thinking and I felt extremely sorry. „Y/n I am sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you. Just know that you can always talk to me! About everything okay?" Of course she nodded and made a pouty face. „Cuddles??" I nodded and she laid her head back at my chest. I made sure she fell asleep before I drifted off, so I could be sure she wasn't having those nightmares again.

The next morning I woke up by Y/n kissing me all over my face and smiling down at me. „Oh you are finally awake!" „And I finally have my happiness back." She first smiled surprised but then gave me a long and soft kiss. „I will go and take a shower" she mumbled into the kiss and got up. „No dont leave me.." I tried to grab her wrists but she was faster. „I will be right back!" I heard her getting in the shower and I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes. I missed those cute mornings with her but at least she is happier now. Thats all I want. „Y/n? Can I quickly bring your tablets and painkillers in?" „Sure! You can get in the shower now if you want to." When I went in she already had the towel around her beautiful body and kissed my cheek after taking the pills. „Thank you Erik." I smiled as respond and she went back to the room to get dressed.

We didn't talk much at breakfast but the silence wasn't getting uncomfortable. It was like before all of this happened and I am glad we are getting back to normal. Suddenly Lyle looked at the two of us and I could see by his stupid grin he either had a stupid or a great idea. „What if you two lovebirds finally go on a real first date?" He seemed super excited and Y/n just stared at him in disbelief. „Y-You are letting me go out?" „Of course Y/n! You aren't our hostage anymore! You should know that!" „Well yes! I would love to!" Both looked at me waiting for a respond and I nodded, knowing they wouldn't take a „no" as answer. „So Y/n what do you wish to do on our first date?" „I trust you Erik very much, so just find something you think could be really fun for us to do and tell me what to wear. Make it a surprise." „Yes I would love to! Thank you Y/n!" I basically ran up to my room and searched for something fun to do with her, completely forgetting about my breakfast. The last thing I heard before fully concentrating on my laptop, was both of them laughing about my cute reaction.

After finally finding the perfect thing to do I walked into the living room seeing Y/n starting outside the window while slow and cute music was playing. I slowly walked up to her and laid my hands on her hips. She didn't flinch or anything, just leaned her head against my shoulder. „Hey Y/n, are you okay?" „Hey love, yes I am" She turned around and kissed me softly. „Just excited for the date." „Oh dont worry. You will love it! Wanna offer me a little dance?" She nodded and laid her head on my chest while we were dancing slowly to the music. A few moments later she softly mumbled: „I love you Erik" A big smile spread across my face and I rested my chin on her head. „Thank you for the great dance my lady. Want to go to bed?" „Sure. I am pretty tired."

We both got ready and started cuddling before falling asleep holding each other.
