Eli's Breakdown

The next day Eli didn't sleep at all Kanan spent the night with her and Arisa spent the night with Honoka and Yuhkio. Kanan woke up and walked into Eli's room "Eli how are you doing" Kanan asked "I'm fine Kanan" Eli said but Kanan knew better "I know you didn't want Nozomi to come today but you don't look any better" Kanan said "I'll get better Kanan don't worry I have to get better" Eli said "Eli...I know you're trying because you always have the necklace on and your always praying at night so I know your trying" Kanan said "I just needed to try and make sure I would be okay and that's how I can be sure Kanan" Eli said "You're trying but I can see the pain in your eyes and last night that breakdown you had when everyone left was bad you had a panic attack and had so much anxiety you were having a hard time breathing hyperventilating it was really bad last night and you didn't get any sleep last night are you really okay" Kanan asked "No I'm not okay I've been hiding it since I found out about what had happened with my grandmother and then my grandfather then my parents died and I was still acting like everything was fine but then when Arisa started hating me that's when I started to break" Eli said as Kanan hugs Eli "That's why you were hiding your feelings because you didn't want to have a breakdown" Kanan said "But I ended up having one anyway" Eli said "But it was because you just couldn't hold it in anymore" Kanan said "How are you so calm with what happened Kanan" Eli asked "I really don't know I guess it's just my personality but if I'm not having a good day I will just stay in bed and not do anything so that's kinda how I do it" Kanan said "Oh shoot I have to apply to more colleges" Eli said "Eli think about you not Arisa you can apply to more colleges once you get some sleep" Kanan said "Kanan but I can't leave Arisa alone by herself" Eli said "I know you can't but right now you can't be there for her if you're not okay so you need to focus on yourself" Kanan said

After they ate Kanan made Eli take a nap. After her nap Eli woke up to knocking at the door and opened it "Good you're awake" Nico said walking in with Maki "I don't remember inviting you two in" Eli said "Is something wrong with Nozomi" Maki asked "I didn't invite you guys in now please leave" Eli said "Guys Eli said that she really needs to apply for colleges" Kanan said "Eli is something wrong with Nozomi" Nico asked as Eli pushed Nico and Maki outside and closed the door "They need to mind their business..." Eli mumbled as she got out her computer and started applying to more colleges "Actually you can call Nozomi and Mari" Eli said pulling up another tab "This is going to be damaging to her health" Eli whispered to herself as Kanan called Nozomi and Mari and told them to come over

After Nozomi and Mari got there Eli closed her computer and sat on the couch next to Nozomi "Nozomi there is no one else here but us no Nico no Maki what's wrong" Eli said "Elichi nothing's wrong" Nozomi said looking at her phone "The comments are getting worse aren't they" Eli asked "No they're not" Nozomi said lying "Don't lie to me I check the website before Kanan called you two" Eli said "Are you eating?" Eli asked worried about Nozomi as Nozomi got up and walked towards the door "Running away won't help you" Eli said "I'm fine Eli!" Nozomi exclaimed leaving off Chi "Yeah that sounds fine it's okay not to be fine" Eli said "I'm really am fine Eli" Nozomi said again leaving off Chi "Is she thinner to you guys" Eli asked looking at Kanan and Mari as they nodded "It's not just me I'm not going to bombard you with questions all I want is you to admit it so then we can work on getting you back to the Nozomi I know and love" Eli said "Thank you all for your concern but I'm really fine" Nozomi said "At least eat please don't end up in a hospital" Eli said "I'm sorry..." Nozomi said walking out of the house and closes the door "I tried I can't do much if she doesn't accept my help" Eli said "What are the comments saying?" Kanan asked "Comparing her weight to everyone else's which is wrong saying she needs to lose weight which isn't bad but they're saying she looks ugly in a bikini and all of those comments are going to eat away at her and now she still thinks she's fat which isn't true at all" Eli said looking down as she got her computer then sat back down and opened it up and showed them the comments "This is terrible she's going to put herself in a hospital and they're still coming in" Kanan said "It hurt me so much to see her like this" Eli said "I know that feeling" Kanan said "She said I'm sorry wait what is she going to do?!" Eli exclaimed as there was a knock on the door "Nico Maki-Chan go away!!" Eli yelled "It's about Nozomi" They yelled back as Eli opened the door "What happened don't tell me she's in the hospital" Eli said "She is in the hospital" Maki said "Why did I let her leave I should have made her stay" Eli said looking at her computer and closing it and walking into her bedroom with her computer and closing the door and locking it "You guys should leave I'll make sure Eli is fine I promise but you guys need to go okay" Kanan said as they left and Kanan could hear Eli breakdown
