Chapter 14:ShinKami

          Denki POV:

I have always been the type to try and fit in. I have usually tried to make sure I dont show when I have a crush. When I met Shinsou he made it that much harder to fit in. I spend more time with him than I thought I would.

I check my phone for the first time in what feels like too long. Theres nothing. For someone who seems to have so many friends none of my friends ever really talk to me. I roll out of bed and get out of my dorm. I dont want to be alone. I walk to the commons to see if anyone's there.

When I get there is see Shinsou sitting on one of the couches. I smile and wave at him. He looks back down at the floor.

"Can I sit with you? I'm tired of being alone." I say hoping for the best.

"Fine. Don't say anything stupid. I'm not in the mood to deal with it."

"Yeah. Thanks."

I go over and sit on the couch across from him. Shinsou opts to staring at me. I'm trying not to look at him.

"So you want to sit with me but you won't talk. Why? And don't worry I'm not using my quirk. Im actually asking." Shinsou says.

"I just dont want to be alone. We can talk if you want."

"Lets talk. Silence clearly isn't doing anything."

"Okay. What should we talk about?"

"Clearly you're upset. So let's talk about why."

"Is it that obvious?"

"Its way too obvious. Whats wrong?"

"Its just I apparently have all these friends but, they never really talk to me."

"Hmm. Sounds like you're not exactly included. I dont really know how to help but, I can tell you that you're not alone."

"Yeah. It seems like I am. They never exactly include me. I usually just invite myself and they don't object. That's not really a friendship."

"Well, how about this. We can hang out. My dad might kill me for bringing a loud blonde home. I dont really care about that. You seem like you need a real friend instead of the shitty people you hang out with."

"Your dad?"

"Mr Aizawa. His husband is Present Mic. Clearly not common knowledge. He adopted Eri and I. I have been with him since I got to UA. Eri well I'm sure you know dad took her into his care when she was saved from Overhaul."

(Yes I know that that isn't technically cannon but, I like the idea.)

"Huh. Well I definitely wasn't expecting that. But, okay we can do that. So how are we doing this exactly? I mean I don't know how to do this really. I haven't had friends that care."

"We'll start with hanging out. We can do it any day. Maybe even today if you're up for it."

"I'd be up for it today. What would we be doing?"

"Anything you want really."

"Oh. I would have to think about that."

"I can tell there's something else."

"What do you mean."

"Something else you need to tell someone."

"Uhm I don't really know if I want to say that. I'm also not sure you want me to say that."

"If you dont tell me willingly I can get it out of you. I'm not saying I will but, you need to say it."

"I- I have never really told anyone."

"I won't judge you. I dont mind."

"Uhm are you completely sure?"

"Yeah. I wouldn't have said it if I wasnt."

"Okay.... well what I apparently need to say is umm I umm sort of have an umm a crush... on... ummm... you."

"That took forever for you to say. See you could have just said it. When did this start?"

"When I first met you."

"Its been a while then. We met at the beginning of our first year. We're in our second year now. It took you that long to tell me?"

"I mean yeah. I was a little surprised I had a crush because I hadn't really had crushes on guys before that."

"I get it. You're not so bad yourself though. I mean given time I could maybe learn to like you. It is a strong maybe though."

"Okay. Okay. How do I help this maybe?"

"What?"

"How do I help the strong maybe be in I don't know my favor. How could I do that?"

"Hmm. We'll see. Let's start with hanging out."

"Okay."

*Time Skip*

Shinsou and I go to my dorm and play video games. He likes to tease me about my crush on him. I laugh because its cute. He doesn't seem like he cares that much about me having a crush on him though.

Shinsou POV:

I'm trying to get closer to Kaminari so I can tell him I like him. I want to make sure I actually like him before I tell him. I dont want to make everything worse by telling him I like him back.

"Do you wanna go get food? I haven't eaten in a while." I say.

"Sure."

"Cool."

I go out of my door and he takes a minute to follow me. When he finally does we walk down to Lunch Rush to get food. Surprisingly people don't care because there's no class right now. We get the same thing. Im not surprised. Kaminari seems to actually like me.

"So Kaminari, are you completely sure you like me?" I say as he's stuffing his face.

"Yeah. You're the only person who I actually have a crush on. I'm still not entirely used to liking guys. I mean Kirishima and Bakubro are hot but, I would never date them."

"Hmm. That's interesting. I mean I do like you. But, I don't think we should date yet. I wanna be friends first. Just so I know what I'm getting into. I just don't want to hurt you."

"Huh. Wait what? You like me too?"

"You heard me."

"Oh okay. Wow. I mean yeah we can be friends first. That's cool."

"I would hope so. Glad you agree."

"Ha yeah."

I look down at my food. I haven't eaten much of my food. I start eating and by the time I'm done Kaminari has already finished two plates. I look around. Theres a few other students in the cafeteria now. I look at Kaminari and raise my eyebrow.

"We should go. People are crowding in here now." I say grabbing my tray.

"Okay." Kaminari grabs his tray and follows me.

He really is almost like a puppy. Its cute. Hopefully he stays that way. Its so adorable. I would never tell him that though. He would freak out. We walk to his dorm this time. He said he has to grab something but, i know he really doesn't have to.

Just for fun I follow him into his dorm.

Denki POV:

Shinsou ends up following me into my dorm. I turn around and kiss him. It surprises us both. I never would have thought I could do that. After the initial shock he kisses back. The kiss goes on for about 3 minutes. When it ends it only ends for a minute. We catch our breaths and Shinsou pulls me in for a kiss again.
