You and Denki have been kind of on and off flirting for about a month or two now. Sometimes it seems like he's going to do something about it but as soon as you think he's gonna finally ask you out, he doesn't. You've mostly assumed he's not gonna do anything by now.
You're walking back to your dorm room when Denki stops you in the hall. You turn towards him.
"Oh. Hi."You say.
"Hey. So I have a question."
"Okay. What's up?"
"Will you go on a date with me this Friday?"
"Yeah. I've kinda been hoping you'd ask."
"I know. Mina may or may not have told me that."
"Of course she did."
"Don't get mad at her though. I actually asked her what you'd say. Just to make sure I wasn't imagining that you were into me."
"That's fair enough."
"Yeah. Uhm for now do you wanna go walk around for a bit before dinner?"
"I'd like that."
"Perfect."
"Let me just put my bag away real quick though."
"Okay."
The two of you walk to your dorm and you put your bag away. Then you both walk down to the trail out front. He holds out his hand, silently asking you to hold it. You smile softly and take his hand in yours. He smiles.
"Took you two long enough."You hear Mina say from behind you.
You glance back at her and just shake your head. Denki kisses your cheek.
