We strutted into courtyard to meet them. Finally this has the potential to be a good day. We all exchanged hugs and soon had to depart to form. Luckily I was with Chloe. As we walked into the room we were greeted with the news all lessons had been cancelled for the day. But we all needed to head to the hall for an assembly.
Whispers filled the entire hall. Luckily though it wasn’t the whole school, just lower sixth form.
“Hey Hannah?” Chloe whispered softly.
“Yeah?”
“What do you think this could all be about?” she questioned.
“I don’t know. I’m hoping it’s something good but knowing the people in our year group it’s probably to do with behaviour” I replied.
Just as I’d finished talking, the once bright lights cut out and we were left in a dark room. A spotlight highlighted a figure all dressed in black.
I turned to Chloe “This is kind of creeping me out” I joked.
We both giggled. What on earth could this be? I questioned myself but my thoughts were quickly interrupted by music blaring through the halls sound system. The figure began to move to the music effortlessly and was gradually joined by another 6 mysterious figures. The lights cut out once again but returned as soon as the music continued playing but this time the figures were in red jackets. Coloured lights began flashing making it a little hard to read the name. One by one they turned around. By now I was frozen.
“Chloe? What? H-h-how c-can i-it be them?!”
“I don’t know but wow!”
It was Justice Crew. The one and only dance crew that ever mattered to us. They inspired us to dance and create our own crew ‘Girl Union’. I looked over and saw the rest of the girls going crazy. I began to relax and before I knew it I was dancing along in the chair. The show soon ended and we were all able to meet the guys.
They all sat at a table and began meeting people. They did all of the usual stuff, taking photos and signing autographs. Then our time came, we were the last ones to see them. It was safe to say I was star struck. We walked up to Lukas.
“Hello Ladies!” He cheered.
I stood their motionless.
“Hey!” Courtney stated.
“We love you guys.” Danielle added.
Karis and Hayley nudged me.
“Quickly say something.” Lauren whispered.
“You guys inspired us so much that we started our own crew” I rushed. OMG I probably just sounded like I was talking jibberish.
“Really?” he replied and motioned for the others to come over. They all stood there.
“Yeah really.” Lauren added.
“Show us something then.” Eman said.
“Really? We haven’t even warmed up.” I said slowly looking up. I began to mentally beat myself up. Why did I mention the crew? I’m too embarrassed to dance.
“Ok but we will battle you sometime.” The twins joined in unison.
“QUICKLY GIRLS, ITS HOME TIME!” One of the staff members yelled across the room.
“I guess we best get going” Danielle stated.
We all said goodbye and slowly walked outside. Once outside we all began to fangirl. We then continued our journey home.
