“Urghhhhhh” This is the sound that escaped my mouth every weekday morning as the consistent ringing of my alarm clock woke me from my slumber.
I threw the covers off and slowly began to drag myself out of bed. I stumbled to the bathroom and freshened up. I returned to my room feeling more awake than I did previously. I thought about what to wear and finally settled on a pair of skinny black trousers, a cream lace top, a purple blazer and my black boots. I got changed as quickly as I could so I could then have more time to spend on my hair and make-up.
I straightened my long brown and blonde hair – after a month of nagging my parents to dip dye my hair they finally gave in. I then did some natural make-up with winged eyeliner.
Now I was fully awake I walked downstairs and double checked I had everything in my bag. Grabbing my phone off the side I left the warmth of my home and walked into the bitter cold and began my journey to school.
I boarded my bus and soon my best friend Danielle joined me on my journey. Whenever we get together you know things are going to get a whole lot better.
“Hey Dizzy D” I chirped as soon I saw her.
“Wassup Hannah Banana?!” she replied.
“Not a lot, just the usual tiredness.” I stated.
I began to play my music. Blaring through the speakers Boom Boom came on by my all-time favourite dance crew, Justice Crew. I instantly began singing along and soon enough Danielle joined me. Before we knew it we were dancing along. This is a usual thing for us… raving at 8am on a bus, whilst receiving death glares from all of the other students. We love annoying them because it’s funny to watch their reactions. (Me and Danielle actually do this, every day without fail)
Soon enough we were trudging through the front doors to the school. Our hatred for this place began to return. The only way we could make it through the day is by hanging out with our other buddies Chloe, Courtney, Karis, Hayley and Lauren.
