Chapter Two: I have one word to describe my life right now: HELL!

"No" I say as I head to the kitchen "I am not asking you" Alexander says as he follows me "Neither am I" I say "Andrea, we are 2 days away from getting married, breakfast was a mess, dinner went smoothly, they got to know you and you got to know them, but they don't know your Dad, Mom would like to have him over for a family dinner, before the wedding" he says "You are aware that my father needs to be in complete calm, that he can't be exposed to any stressful situation" I say "I am aware" he says "Then why do you insist on taking him to the wolf's cave?" I ask and he sighs "Because we are going to family and family has to bond" he says and I sigh "I'm glad we have come to an understatement, your father will have a nurse with him always, she will make sure she is will, when dinner is done, he goes back to the hospital" he says "If your..." "Mother will keep him in check" he says and I sigh "Okay, my dad can accompany us to dinner" I say "Thank you" he says as he walks away.

Mr. Robert will not control his tongue. I know he lives to humiliate people, rich or poor, he doesn't care, if can embarrass you, he will, and it worries me, Dad is not condition to be put in stressful situation, true, in the "Let's meet the in laws" dinner, he was very control, because Mrs. Martha kept him in check, but what guarantees he will do the same on this dinner? I worry, I do not want to lose my father, not yet, not 2 days away from the wedding, specially do not want to lose him due to Mr. Robert and his viper tongue.

"I forgot to tell you" Alexander says as he returns to the room "Mother, Amelia, and the wedding planner are coming to meet with you, she told me that there are some last minute touches they want to get ready, also, we are going to the beach for our engagement photo" he says and I tip my head aside "If you hadn't argued with me about your father, I would have delivered the message completely" he says and I sigh "They have already have chosen the outfits for us, so we leave at 2:00" he says and I nod.

"How is your hand and head?" he asks "They are better, the bump left, and the hand is almost back to it's natural color" I answer and he sighs "I'm sorry, I should have measured my strength" he says "Is okay, I should have kept my composure, not allow your father get to me" I say and he sighs again "Alexander, I'm serious, I'm fine" I say "I can see that, please, call me Alex" he says "Okay, Alex, tell me, what's bothering you?" I ask "I have not been completely honest with you" he says and I frown "Robert is not my father" he says "He is not?" I ask "He is my stepfather" he answers "Okay" I say "My grandfather hated my biological father and he didn't wanted Mother to be with my father, so he forced Mother to marry Robert, but the time Robert and Mother got married, she was already pregnant with me" he answers "Robert hates your guts too" I say, Alex nods "Why would he love me? I am the living proof that his wife doesn't love him, he barely stands me, because of Amelia" Alex says as he sighs "Robert is not easy, he can get under your skin, push you the edge, trust me, I know, but we need to ignore it, because he is my competitor" Alex adds "If you do not get married, he gets the company" I say and he nods "Grandfather acknowledge that Mother's marriage with Robert came with a price, so if I failed to full the requirements to become president of the company, he would give it to Robert" Alex explains.

>>"You should have told me this before" I say "Any particular reason for this?" he asks "Because I would have bitten my tongue harder" I say and he laughs "Go get ready for mother, she will be here soon" he says as he kisses my head.

"The big day is just two days away, which means that we need to make sure everything is working according to plan" Mrs. Martha says "The owner of the establishment were the wedding and the reception are going to be held, called me earlier today to let me know that the decorations had arrived, I sent my assistant down there to make sure everything we ordered arrived, and it did" Mrs. Prince (Mrs. Martha's best friend and my wedding planner) says "Decorations, check" Amelia says "Dress?" Mrs. Martha asks and everybody looks at me "The bridal shop delivered this morning, they even made sure it fit, they also brought my jewelry and my shoes, both items are upstairs in my closet" I answer "Dress, jewelry, and shoes check" Amelia says "The make up team and hair team will be here at 3:00 pm, you have to be showered by then" Mrs. Prince says "Go it" I say "Make up and hair, check" Amelia says "Please tell me you and Alexander came to an agreement about the wine to be served" Mrs. Martha says "We almost didn't, but we did, wine is for dinner, champagne is for the toast and for the enjoyment of people" I say "I'll let the catering service know" Mrs. Prince says "Food and drinks, check, I believe we have covered the list" Amelia says "It is almost 2:00 a clock, you should go get in your outfit for the engagement photos" Mrs. Martha says and I nod as I stand and head up stairs.
