We ready for Wakanda? I don't think you are.

After the heavy discussion, all parties fell asleep. Before waking again as the sun rose over southern Africa.

Becca's POV

I opened my eyes to movement around me and the rumbling of an engine.

We're on the plane. Ok. This is fine.

I sit up slowly and brush my hair out of my face.

"Никаких кошмаров сегодня вечером?" (No nightmares tonight?) I mutter to myself.

A peaceful night just doesn't happen.

"Нет, прошлой ночью тебе не снился кошмар." (No, you didn't have a nighmare last night)

I turn to see Bucky smiling at me sadly.

"Я забыл ты говорил по русски." (I forgot you spoke Russian.)

He smiles for real now.

"Никогда действивно не скем было поговорить." (Never had anyone to speak it too.)

I smile with him, as a small laugh echoes from behind us.

We both spin around to see a very amused steve grinning at the interaction.

"Sorry Steve." I say apologetically, aware that he doesn't understand Russian.

He shakes his head.
"It's fine Becca, I just forgot you spoke Russian. And we're about three clicks out from the Wakandan barrier."

I stand up quickly, pushing the blanket I hadn't noticed to the floor, before I rush to the window and watch as the carpet of green rushed beneath us.

"Where's the city?" I ask behind me without my eyes leaving the window.

"Just watch" I hear in response as we arc upwards before diving towards the trees.

A gasp gets caught in my throat as the trees ripple in a flash of electric blue and then we're soaring over fields towards a city of jutting buildings intertwined with rivers and trees.

My jaw hits the floor as the plane dips lower towards the land and we come to a stop on the tarmac.

Despite the very amused looks from both James and Steve I pull myself together, grab my jacket off the seat I slept on and try to lessen the amazement in my eyes at this city.

We walk past my bike parked on the ramp as we exit the plane and are slammed with the African heat.

"Jesus Christ" I mutter under my breath as I take in the glistening city around me.

The laughs beside me remind me of the apparent royal company we're meeting and my heart rate picks up slightly.

I walk a step behind them both to follow their lead with greetings and we step towards the four waiting figures.

The immediate respect I have for them all is immense.

The two warriors immediately catch my eye, their red armour and imposing spears definately make a statement.

The people in between them however are a lot more relaxed. A man in his thirties in a black tunic and a female with braids in her hair, a graphic tshirt and jeans.

"T'challa" James speaks first. "Thank you for having us."

The man who I now assume is T'challa smiles kindly.

"It is our pleasure. Welcome to our country."

They shake hands before Steve greets him in a similar way.

Bucky takes half a step backwards and pulls me forwards subtly by the waist and introduces me.

"This is my sister Rebecca, sorry for the unexpected guest."

This time the girl grins.

"I told him, its a pleasure to meet you!"

She offers her hand and I take it with a smile.

As I step forward the warriors beside them tense and my eyes flick up but nothing happens and I shake hands with them both.

"I'm sorry for the Dora Milaje, they are always stressed when we're meeting new people" T'challa explains to me carefully. I can tell he's monitoring my reaction.

I smile gently.

"No apology needed, I'm sorry for my unexpected visit, it's a honour to meet you both."

I step backwards slightly to ease their minds and Shuri claps quickly.

"Time for the surprise for you all!"

What will it be? I'm sure you can probably guess but I thought I'd end this here.

Please comment your thoughts, the feedback is definately appreciated.

Hope you liked it!
