Just like everything else in the mansion, she felt incredibly small in the guest room which appeared to be the size of her whole house- if not bigger. Everything was luxurious and fancy, even the toilet which had miniature shelves on the side lined with mysterious products. Vanilla and macadamia nuts were sweetly coating the entire room, and just the perfect amount of it too.
"This is your room for tonight- you'll be called for dinner in a short while. If you need anything, let me know."
"Thank you, Shiro." The therapist said, still in awe as she took in her surroundings. A smile appeared on the males' lips before he shut the door and left the female to wander and look around some more.
Soon enough, she explored every corner and inch of the room. The empty drawers and closet gave her the hint that this was a guest bedroom for sure. There was still so much she wanted to try, but she made a small promise to herself that she would try out the shower tomorrow morning. After all, it looked complex yet she figured it would leave her cleaner than ever- plus the unique and possibly fun experience.
She moved over to the window where she rested her head on the top of the couch, watching Riku play with Fufu under the twinkling sky. During her days here she had not once seen him smile so kindly the way he has with Fufu, not a hint of anger or any negative emotions at all. That was progress.
Pride swelled in her chest and she snickered when the dog leaped on his chest and licked his face. When he sat up and gently pushed the dog away, he noticed (Y/N) from the window and made eye contact.
She waved at him to which he nodded a greeting back, then resumed his playtime with Fufu. That didn't last long as there was a call that notified everyone for dinner.
"Welcome (Y/N)! I hope you're enjoying yourself so far?" Akio said once she sat down.
"I am! Thank you for giving me a place to stay for now. It's a lot more than I could ever ask for, so thank you."
Hospitality. Friendliness. Intimacy. Those all came to mind when she said her next sentence:
"I owe you guys big time."
Something unfamiliar glimmered in Akio's eyes but that went unnoticed when Riku and Fufu shot into the mansion, tracking in mud and dirt from their long time playing.
"Riku," Akio said sternly as the purple-haired male sat down. "Leave the dog outside. You know Itsuki's allergic- get it down from the table!" He leaned back pinched his nose with a sigh when Riku didn't even bat an eye towards the blond male.
Shiro shrugged, taking his silver platter from the maid. He winked and clicked his tongue, but that didn't phase the maid one bit as she continued her job. "Eh, don't worry about Itsuki. He's probably not going to come down anyways. Too busy playing video games and not doing his work as usual."
Riku spoke after tossing a piece of meat to Fufu."No one here does their work anyway, and when Minnie comes we'll all be in deep shit- especially you, hah." He grinned mischievously at Akio.
She looked at Akio and Shiro. "If you don't mind me asking, who's Minnie?"
Akio awkwardly took a bite of the steak. "A... person that regularly checks in on us. She stays for a few weeks then leaves and reports back to our companies on our status." He tucked a strand of hair behind his ear and shifted his food around, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. Shiro as well, and so she dropped the topic and praised the food instead.

It was a long day, and she hadn't realized that it was long past midnight until she flopped on her bed and glanced at the luxurious alarm clock on the nightstand. She wondered what Mina would say about this situation she was stuck in. It's been quite a while since the last time they chatted, but she figured she was probably enjoying her trip with Yuki. Even if she wanted to give her a call she couldn't.
For now, she would sleep. Sleep with a false sense of security, sleep with a dangerous amount of naïveté. Sleep unaware that she was being watched.
~~~~~
The ringing phone beside her startled her away, and she questioned where she was until her memories flooded her mind and answered the phone with a groggy voice.
The other person on the line didn't bother to give a greeting back. "I've been trying to reach you since yesterday but it would always go to voicemail and Yuki tried calling you too. What have you been up to?"
"Mina? Is that you? I've missed you! The connection has been down since yesterday..." She was both relieved and happy. It's been a while since the two sisters talked to each other; they had a lot to catch up on.
"Of course it's me, who else would it be?" A faded and distant voice spoke after Mina's.
"Hi (Y/N)! We've missed you too!" She giggled at Yuki's voice.
"So, when will you get back? You're coming back soon, right?" It was clear to a Mina that she was eager, and she was. She missed Mina, she missed having her sister beside her.
"Not for another month that's for sure haha." When she was met with silence she sighed, picturing a frown on her sister's face. "Listen (Y/N) there's a reason why we're not coming back. Yuki and I are planning something, uh, special and-and it's gonna be huge, you'll be surprised."
No matter how fast Mina spoke and tried to justify her decision, it didn't lift (Y/N)'s sinking heart. "Well, what are you two planning? If it's keeping you away from me then it must be pretty important." Her tone of voice was cold and sharp, and she tried to speak again but (Y/N) interrupted her.
"Ah, I'm getting another call. I'll talk to you soon, bye Mina." After the beep she paused for a split second, thinking about what was said to her before picking up the call from an unknown number.
"Hello? Who's this?"
There was a small gasp, then the person cleared their throat and spoke. "(Y-Y/N)? It's Nagisa. Um..."
All negative feelings from her previous call were washed away by the sound of his sweet and innocent voice. She leaned against the bedpost, unaware of the smile that quickly spread across her face. "Hey, Nagisa! How have you been?"
It was unclear as to whether he was cutting off or he was stuttering as he spoke, "I-I'm okay. I called be-because I wanted to know when the next session was- ow!"
She raised an eyebrow then answered his question while picking up the sound of another voice aggressively whispering as if to avoid being heard. "It is scheduled for tomorrow."
"I don't want to!" Nagisa's outburst surprised (Y/N) and she quickly grew concerned.
"You don't want to have the session tomorrow? Is everything alright?"
"Ah I'm sorry (Y/N) that-that wasn't for you that was for... someone else. What I meant to say was, uh, well, you see," the smile was back on her face and she waited patiently for the male to collect himself.
"Is it okay if we go for a walk tomorrow... together?"
She almost burst out laughing as she adored how he audibly held his breath as he waited for her answer.
Nagisa had a million 'what if' thoughts running through his head, and with his brother's devilish and provoking grin beaming down on him didn't help in the slightest. His brother jabbed at him with elbows and fingers to try to force the last sentence out of the nervous male since that was the main reason why he called his therapist, and instead of backing out of it he earned a smack to the head instead.
For once, the blue-haired male saw a splash of colour in his world as he heard the words he longed for.
"I'd be more than happy to."
