May say in the back of the plane looking at one of the Templar's as she held back tears and Carter was giving her a little hug as she struggled to deal with the death of her twin, but she was managing a lot better than anyone had thought, however, she still blamed these Templar's for the death of her brother, she had never seen a group with a plane so heavily armed he so cowardly with their plane, she was disgusted and she felt betrayed but she wouldn't say anything, for now.
They were brought to the planet of Dakar and brought to one of the many massive buildings on the planet, the planet was basically one large super city with more people than the galaxies surrounding it. It was one of the larger buildings but out of all the buildings it seemed like the least flashy and the least noteworthy, Garner guessed that was by design. They were brought into a hanger and were told to walk out, and that someone would meet them outside of the plane. Garner gathered up his squad and patted May on the shoulder, something that made her turn away from him, and then lead them out of the plane.
A tall robed man looked at the group as they walked out of the plane, his eyes were a dark blue and his teeth were purely white, something that made all of the soldiers know he had never seen a battlefield before, or never had a childhood. He was well built and his robes were tan and his skin was pale. He had a sword at his right side and a shield at his left as he smiled at the group and announced, "Hello soldiers, I am master Nox, a master in the Templar's, I know you all have many questions and if you would just walk with me I will tell you everything, and don't worry I will not hurt any of you for anything."
They started walking with the master going slowly as they started to walk down a long hallway decorated with a few vases and pictures of battles that only the master and Garner knew about and before Nox could say anything Alex spoke up, deciding that now was a great time to be sarcastic, "For anything, what if I shoot at you, and why should we trust you, we just lost a comrade and all you all have done is tell us that our questions will be answered, so here's my question, what in the hell are you doing with us and why are we so special that you decided to save us except for the fact we were all the best in the training grounds."
Nox sighed as he stopped in his tracts and turned around to face them as his friendly tone ebbed a little as he explained, "So, I'm not here to tell you that everything you know is a lie."
Garner then spoke up, "Stop the theatrics, my men want answers and we will get our answers now."
"Well then, Magic is real, and only certain people are capable of doing any sort of magic and we have figured out that you all are able to use magic, although it isn't magic like you know it, we call it the power, although we don't talk about it much, to keep it secret, people don't react well when their protectors are the things they tend to find evil."
May looked at him and muttered to herself saying that she didn't believe it but Carter then questioned Nox saying, "So when a drought nearly destroyed my farm but it rained at the last day before the peanuts died, was that this power that you're telling us about?"
"No, that was the weather. Although some Templar's can control the weather, speaking of which I guess I should tell you about the Templar's. The Templar's were started when humans from earth started to find the rest of the galaxy, we were created by a bishop who figured out how to use his power and he would train people to use their power and he assumed that those who could use it were blessed by god and that the ones who couldn't were heathens, he had them killed. But since then we have evolved into the protectors of democracy swearing off the horrible start of our organization only keeping the name. Now we train people how to use their power to protect the republic and to fight the Syndicate and anyone who is a threat to democracy. We use swords and shields because our armor can block most lasers but these swords made of a concoction of metals can pierce our armor, bullets of it would be to costly so we use swords, besides some Templars can use the swords in weird ways, making waves of energy and handling them without laying a hand of them."
