Astroll was tired of living in the flagship of his fleet, something he had spent roughly two months doing now, which was two months to long in his opinion. He missed his home on the ground, his many many different homes on many different planets. He stood in front of a massive window in his room, which was more like a condo with how large it was. He had a wine glass and swirled the liquid in it around as he watched the battle below. His ships were currently bombing out an ice planet in one of the many battles going on throughout the universe.
He was winning, and he was winning at a very quick rate, but there was a problem when it came to all this winning, it depraved him of opportunities to take over and kill Chieftan. His current strategy was to kill him when they attacked Dakar but he needed to ensure that Yellowbeard and Cinister would be ok with him taking over so he was waiting for the perfect time to bribe them, after all they were far from upstart men, they could be easily bribed. But now he has something else to worry about, someone, to worry about.
He never thought he was going to see his daughter again and had simply given up on the idea of family altogether, Yamamoto being the closest thing he had to family for a very long time but now he was within a day or so of seeing his daughter, and now a woman named Ashara seemed, beyond interested in him. It was to the point of annoyance but still he couldn't deny that she actually cared about him, although he could tell she also wanted the power that he had, he was conflicted on what he should do, and on what he wanted to do.
He stared out into the void of space and at the blue ball of ice that had small explosions going all over it as he watched his ships fire down at military targets as he took a sip of the tea in his wine glass. He wasn't a drinker and despised the taste of alcohol but he used tea as it could pass off as some non alcoholic drink, sometimes. When it didn't Astroll didn't really care, he was the one in charge, he didn't have to follow by any rules or laws or codes, even treaties weren't sacred to him. This whole wad bad started because he invaded a part of wild space which was against a treaty but he really didn't care. Hell at this rate he was happy about the war, it finally gave him a chance to have a family again.
His daydreaming was rudely interrupted by a knocking at the door which caused Astroll to sign before he he called, "Come in, make yourself at home at this rate you keep following me." She constantly followed him, must people would have taken some sort of action but Astroll didn't, he wanted to see why she constantly tried to make him happy, if she was just a bootlicker, obsessed, crazy, a combination of those or all three. He didn't really care about her constantly talking to him though, she was a lot nicer and a lot easier to get along with than ninety percent of the generals and admirals and other officers on board his fleet, and unlike them she tried to make herself look presentable.
Ashara walked into the room and frowned as she could tell that she had interrupted Astroll and she could tell that he was probably semi mad about that, however she was always good at cheering him up, why would this time be any different. She walked up behind him and he sighed as she wrapped her arms around his neck and asked, "Why are you in such a bad mood, todays great, and tomorrow will be the best day of your life, what's wrong?"
"I try to be realistic, something wrong can always happen and ruin my fun along with my plans, that and the fact that a woman I barely know is acting as if we are engaged despite the fact, eh, forget it, why are you here?" He was down to the point as he honestly found himself warming up to her, as annoying and weird as she was, she was still good looking and very charming, besides, truth be told, he was a little lonely but he didn't let anyone know, or even guess that.
She smiled as she heard that, he really did like her, and he was to embarrassed to admit it! That was just to great. Sahara chuckled slightly before she took a few steps back and then sat down on his bed before she teased him, "Ah, cat got your tongue? I'm here to celebrate with you, your the king and you don't have anyone to talk to so I thought I would fill in that role, after all you have to be bored when your not commanding armies and making breakthroughs others could only dream off. Someone as powerful as you must feel bored to having someone to show off to, or perhaps our even stronger than I think you are, maybe you should show me?" She then frowned as he laughed at her.
