Ah yes. As if Reaper didn't have enough mommy issues. Here come the daddy issues.

"Grim I want you to stop giving her my number," Reaper huffed softly. He had no clue what his brother wanted to meet about but he wanted to settle this first.

Grim looked uneasy. "I uhm... I'm not here to talk about mom."

Reaper frowned. "What is it then?" Don't get him wrong. He liked his little brother but... gosh it was so hard to deal with him sometimes.

   "It's about... our father."

Reaper blinked. "Our... father?" He couldn't remember much about his father. He knew he got most of his looks from him but that was it. "What about him?"

"He's dead. And he left you a lot of money..." Grim muttered. "He left it to you specifically listed as his only heir. I guess he didn't know about me..."

Reaper stared blankly at his brother. "He what?"

"He left you everything he had. By name specifically. They tracked mother down first trying to get ahold of you." Grim explained.

Reaper stared at the floor. "He left me money..."

   "Yes."

Reaper twitched. "I don't want it. That bastard is far too late to be giving me money." Reaper huffed. He didn't think he could hate anyone. The closest he got was his mother but his father.... His father was the reason they were so poor. His father was the reason they didn't have money to pay for medicine. His father is the reason his mother left.

   "Reaper."

"I don't want anything to do with my parents! He left before you were born and left us with nothing but a big empty house. She left me when I was nine and sick. Neither of them deserve to be called my parents... So they aren't. I won't call them my parents..." Reaper huffed. He hadn't really considered them his parents in a long time anyway... 'I'm leaving Grim. Tell her she can have the money. I'll write that down too."

Grim could only stare as his older brother walked away...
