The sound of birds chirping outside of my room woke me up from my peaceful sleep. I sat up in bed, stretching my arms high and over my head with a light groan. Looking over, I found Ymir still sound asleep, and looked like she wouldn't wake up for another couple of hours, but just in case she would hound me on for not waking her up, I tapped her on her shoulder. The freckled girl stirred awake, her body turning to face away from me.

I didn't take the hint and continued to tap her on her shoulder. "Hey, Ymir. I'm going to go have breakfast, do you wanna-" I was cut off when she turned completely around in her bed and slammed me to the floor with her pillow.

"Shuddup!" She hissed out, her words half-muffled as she stuffed her face back into her pillow. I calmly stood up and grabbed the cranky girl's pillow and whacked her with it myself.

Ymir let out a muffled groan of pain and I dusted off my pants and walked away with a pleased sign.

"I'll bring you back an apple," I said while heading towards the door, knowing she was most likely not even going to wake up for breakfast at all. Right before I closed the door to the dorm room, I heard a loud sigh and a yell of thank you coming from the girl. I just chuckled to myself in reply and slung on the strap to my camera safely around my neck and closed the door with a soft click.

I made my way out of the dorm building and walked along the sidewalk that headed towards the main cafeteria to campus, not wanting to wait in a huge line for the cafes surrounding the university. The high chirps of birds in the trees sounded in the early Sunday morning, and I noticed that the campus was relatively lively today.

Most people would probably be sleeping in, like Ymir was, and resting for the start of classes that would be tomorrow, but some were out and about like I was. And when I made my way into the main building that held the cafeteria at the end of the long hallway, I saw a certain brunette and ash-brown-haired boy by the entrance.

I didn't make a move to acknowledge them, or at least make eye contact, as I continued on my way, but yells from the two made me turn around and I started to walk over towards them.

"Hey," I said, then took a double-take when I picked my head up from the ground and looked up at the two. The girl from last night, Sasha, had warm brown hair that shined more in the sunlight, and it was tied up into a ponytail, wisps of the brown hair covering parts of her head in bangs.

And the boy, in which I still didn't know his name, was even more pretty in the daylight.

The smiling girl wore a pair of denim cargo pants with a short, tight-fitted tank top that showed off her toned figure; and the boy wore a pair of casual shorts, a letterman jacket hanging off of his broad shoulders, along with a single gold chain that hung around his neck.

The two were definitely beyond hot by measure.

I quickly thanked myself for dressing casually as well, wearing (outfit of choice) instead of just dressing like a slob.

"Bench Girl!" The tall boy said with a grin. "Nice to see you again."

"Same here," I said with a chuckle, not bothering to tell him my name in replace of the "Bench Girl" nickname. I turned to the girl. "I see you're doing better, Sasha."

Sasha rubbed the back of her neck in embarrassment. "Yeah, sorry about yesterday," she laughed nervously.

"You're good." It was silent for a moment as the two continued to stare at me, eager looks now on their faces. I backed away a step, kind of scared and kind of confused about what those expressions meant.

"Well, I'm just gonna go-"

"No!" Sasha yelled out, her arm reaching to clasp onto my shoulder. "I mean, eat with us! Yeah! You eat with us!" I blinked at her in confusion. Why?
