THE BAYOU BLUES

                                             "You good?" Essence asked, as she looked at Maleígha through the mirror. She stood behind her straighten her hair. She had took it out the ponytail and decided to keep the hair straight. Maleígha looked up from her phone. As she looked up at Essence in the mirror she nodded her head.

Essence had noticed how Maleígha had been zoned out all morning. After Essence and Amari talked for hours about Gia and what was she like. Essence eventually found herself back in the room only to see that Maleígha had cried herself to sleep and a broken phone on the floor. She didn't ask cause she would rather her tell her when she was ready.

"You not Leí. And it's alright if you not." Essence said, as she looked at her. Over the past two months of knowing her sister she had never seen her down. Maleígha didn't care while she was doing what she did so why did she care now. She was too caught up in living in the moment. She was being selfish knowing how it felt to be fucked over. Doing shit out of spite didn't always have a good outcome.

"Essence I fucked up." Maleígha said, as she broke down crying. Maleígha had been blowing Cartí's phone up. She had been calling and texting him all morning. Her next option was going to his floor but she knew she couldn't get up their without having the room key present in the elevator.

Essence placed the BaByliss flat iron on top of the bathroom counter. She grabbed tissues and began patting Maleígha's face. She was starting to see how that shit felt. She loved Cartí and hurting him was the last thing she wanted to do.

"We ain't gotta go out with ol' dude and them. We could go downstairs and chill by the pool or we could rent us a yacht our damn selves." Essence said, as Maleígha nodded. She didn't think it was a good idea for them to go with Tony. Maleígha was vulnerable and with the state of mind she was in anything could happen.

                                                             "Yeah, I'll send you the information for the yacht people. You'll mind calling them while I go downstairs?" Maleígha asked,  causing Essence to nod. Maleígha used the tissue to wipe her tears so she wouldn't mess up the simple beat she had did on herself. Standing up she looked in the mirror to see Essence was finished with her hair. She quickly left leaving Essence alone.

                                                                 Essence decided to clean up the bathroom. They were both ready all they had to do was throw on some clothes and head out the door. As her phone quickly went off she grabbed it seeing it was Maleígha sending her the information. It went off once again.

FROM - AMARI : She look just like you. I can't wait to meet her.

TO - AMARI : I can't wait till she meets you. She's going to be so excited.

Essence sent the message. She looked over at the information Maleígha sent to her before calling up the number.

As Maleígha walked into the penthouse suite. She was amazed. The suite was two story. With all amenities included. He had the best view of South Beach. She had managed to convince the people in the downstairs lobby that she was his wife. It didn't take much convincing being that he had did the same thing last night to get into her room.
