"Get the twins in here!"

Hazel gets pushed in the cold room in front of me. I quickly grabs her hand, and she looks back at me. I see her swallow with anxiety and I give her a calming smile. Even though I'm everything but calm right now.

"Girls! Come sit here with me."

The room is pretty big, but it feels like the smallest space in the world. Grey floor, grey walls and no windows. In the middle of the room is a table with three chairs. A din light comes from an old lamp swinging slightly over the table. On one of the sides of the table, a man is sitting down with a bunt of papers in front of him. He's smiling at us.

I look at Hazel and nod. We slowly walk together, hand in hand, towards the man and the table. We both sit down on the chairs and looks at the man. He's tall, and muscular. His light brown hair is put up in a bun so he's ginormous ears are showing. His blue sight is evil and his smile creepy. He takes a quick look at the papers and than points at me.

"Hazel?"

I shake my head. "I-I'm Willow. This is Hazel." I say shyly and point at Hazel. The man nods. "I see. Look, I understand you girls has a lot of questions-"

"Can we go home?" Hazel finally says.

The mans sighs and look at us. He smiles creepy again. "This is your new home." The sentence takes our breaths out, but the man continues. "I think we should get to know each other a little bit before..." This time I have to say something. "Before what?"

He clears his throat and then stays silent. Thousands of thoughts go to my head in one second. Before they're gonna kill us? Before they're gonna kidnap us? I feel Hazel squeezing my hand. She squeezes it so hard that it hurts. But I don't care. These moments make me realize how happy I am to have her.

The man clears his throat once again, this time so loud that I get scared. "So, tell my something about yourselves. Happy Birthday, by the way. Apparently you're 6 years old today." He smiled again. "Anything else you want to tell me? What you like about each other? Favorite color?"

"I-I like green," Hazel stammer. The man smiles again. I wish he didn't, every time he looks creepier and creepier. "Green. It's a pretty color. What about you?" I start to feel a little bit calmer. So far, it's just normal questions. This time, I speak with more confidence. "I really like pink because-" "Pink, I see. Any other color you like?" The man writes something down at his papers. I don't understand why he asks us about colors, but I answer once again.

"Blue."

He doesn't look up from the paper he writes on, but I can see that he smirks. He suddenly stands up, and with a scary gaze looks at Hazel and me. "Alright, I'm gonna show you your new bedroom." None of us moves. I was just about to say something, when I hear Hazel's voice instead.

"No."

I immediately understand that Hazel made a mistake. I see how the man's eyebrows curls and he closes his fists. "Girls, I don't have much patience, okay? I suggest you do what I tell you." His whole body releases some tension, until Hazel says;

"Why should we do as you say?"

The man bangs his fists into the table. Hazel and I both flies up from our seats. I don't know why, it just happens. I look at Hazel with fear. This time, she's the one to give the calming look. She slowly let go of my hand and put them in front of her, pointed towards the man. He takes a step back with fear. She takes a deep breath, and then twists her hands.

Nothing happens.

Hazel face changes. It goes from confident to confused as she looks at her hands. She leans to me and whispers. "Why doesn't it work?" The man walks around the table and us, until he stands right behind us. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. We know about your little power-thingy. That you, Hazel, can control time. And you..." He puts a cold hand on my shoulder. "You can control gravity."

I grabs Hazel's hand once again. My heart is beating hard and fast, it feels like it's going to jump out of my chest. The man stands creepy close, and whispers with an even creepier voice.

"Your powers don't work when you have those on your wrists." We both look down at our feet. Around our wrists is a blinking band. I didn't even realize it was there, but now that I see it I feel that it's so tight against my skin that it hurts. Suddenly, Hazel let's go of my hand. In a second she turns around and kicks the guy in the stomach.

"Come on!" We start running towards the door as we hear the man grunting behind us. As we reach the door, Hazel pulls the handle and pushes.

It's locked.

I quickly pull out an bobby-pin from my hair. It stings my scalp, but I don't care. I put the bobby-pin in the lock and twist it. "I've seen this on movies, you can unlock the door with a bobby-pin-" The pin breaks and half of it falls to the ground. Hazel bends down and try to rip of the band, but it's useless. That thing is where it is.

The door slams open and guards comes rushing in. They grab us hard, and pushes us out of the door. I try to twist myself to get out of their grip. But they're too strong, and I'm only hurting myself. I close my eyes gently. I try to make myself calm, but it don't work.

I have no idea what they're gonna do to me. Or to Hazel.

All I know is that we are stuck here.
