They reached the destination, his friend's house. He asked her to get down from the car with his gift and stationed it in a place.
He then followed her to the house, decorated with flowers and sequins between the walls. The rangoli was an attractive sight. A large sofa poured with pink rose petals was where the engaged couple perched and clicked photos with their friends and relatives. Overall, a simple engagement.

"Hey vaa da Samar!" his friend Ashwin was in euphoria to see him after ages, and waved at him.
"Maapleyy!" he ran and hugged Ashwin.
Shalini also came over and they congratulated the couple with the gift. They posed for a picture with them.
"Neenga rendu peruma? Sollave illa!" Ashwin was ecstatic on seeing ShaMar together.
"We are only best friends, please don't jump to any conclusions" she answered to everyone and he was relieved.
