My breath shortened. My knees locked. Breathing became hard for a quick second.
"Woah"
All heads turn to the man walking in. It felt like a slow-mo scene in a movie. I'm usually not the one to get shocked or amazed by a man. Maybe just a little "oh he's kinda cute" but no. This sounds cringe but he's...different.
"Girl who is that?" I turn to ask my friend. She supposedly knows everyone and everything.
"That's Minsik" she adds a smirk.
"Minsik?"

2 weeks before
"LET'S GO TO THE CLUB!" My friend Ray yells in my ear.
"Absolutely not. We went yesterday." I groan and stand up from my computer to look her in her eye. "No more clubbing and partying this week Ray"
She pouts and kicks her feet like a kid. "But Deyyyy"
"Gross. You're making me wanna stay home even more." I fake vomit while laughing.. Her acting like a baby is so....no. It makes her look weirder than she already is.
"You're so boring Deynei"
"That's fine with me" She flops on my bed groaning. You're probably wondering why can't she go by herself? She's a scaredy cat. She can't go anywhere by herself. Plus I'm her only friend. She's my only friend too but there's some things you gotta do by yourself. She even asks me to go to the bathroom with her.
"You need to date someone" she sits up a little smirking at me.
"Why? I just got out of a relationship"
"Yeah like 3 years ago. When will you get over him?"
I dated this boy 3 years before. The best and only serious relationship I've had. He was a sweetheart. We didn't break up because of spite or toxicity, it was simply because we drifted.
"I am. I just don't wanna get into another relationship"
She groans while getting up from my bed.
"Do you have a life? No partner, no clubbing, no nothing"
"Do you? You have to have me go everywhere with you."
"Fair. I'm going downstairs to get a snack. Can you stand at the top and watch me please"
"Girl what are you 12? Go down there and get it without me shadowing you." She scrunched up her eyebrows and opened my door.
"You suck." I hear the door close and steps on the stairs.

"Huh." I don't get many followers often. "Woah this dude has almost 15k followers." I scroll through his Instagram and stare at his shirtless pictures.
"Omg. He's so attractive"

My finger was hovering over the follow back button. Then I get a message. "What?" He must be watching me. I raise my eyebrow and sit up a little looking around my room. "Come out if you here sir..." I get up slowly and make my way to my window. The branches outside the window hit the glass causing me to jump.
My door starts to open slowly. It creaks followed by small footsteps. "What the fuckkkk" I whimper while slowly turning around. My back is 95% turned. "I'm so scared."
"DEYNEI!" My back was now turned halfway when I heard Ray scream my name.
"WHAT?" My heart jumps out of my chest causing me to drop my phone. "What did you do that for?!" I puff while picking up my now cracked phone. "Ray. You scared the shit out of me. Look what you did." I push the phone toward her face groaning.
"It's not that bad. You have a screen protector." I just sigh and lay back down. I grab my phone and click on Instagram to see what he wrote in the message. "Hold on. What?" I refresh my home page and dms multiple times before i tried to log in and out.
The message disappeared.
