Y/n watched as her mother was packing her bags, she knew all too well that she'd leave her behind. Didn't matter what the public would think about her, all her mother wanted to do was come back to her husband's arms.
"You are a terrible mother." Y/n growled at her, she looked at her shock, "Don't act like you're doing the right, abandoning your child so you could back to the man."
"You're no child of mine." She said Y/n could only give her a stare, "One of the best news I've heard. You aren't my mother and you'll never be."
Usagi-San watched as Y/n stood at the balcony, "Enjoying the view?" He asks her as he smokes his cigarette, "I feel like I'm going to suffocate in here." Y/n moves away from the balcony and into the condo.
"Where are you going?"
"Home." Y/n picked up her bag from the sofa and opened the first door, she stopped and placed her shoes on, "Misaki is making breakfast."
"And? The longer I stay here, then it gets harder to breathe." Y/n opened the second door and left.
Usagi-San could only give a small glare as he went back to the sofa, "Where did Y/n go?" Misaki asks him.
"She left." He took out another cigarette once he finished the first one, "You should cut back."

"That bastard." He murmured under his breath and he rubbed his back, "Everything hurts." Y/n could only laugh at his pain as he struggled to even sit down.
"So are screwing the author." She continued to laugh as she ate her lunch.
"Shut up! I thought you and Usagi-San were getting along!" Y/n shrugged her shoulders, "Just being there just reminded me of something."
"Last night, what were you and Usagi-San talking about?"
"My family." Y/n took out her diary and handed it to him, he looked at her confused, "You said to be honest with each other, fine then."
Misaki placed his pencil down as he was doing work and eating, "I grew up in a rich family, they were known for wealth, beauty, and most importantly... a love life. They all went after those who are just like them and those who don't are removed from their status as an L/n. They dishonor the side of their family and it's up to the children to fix their parent's mistakes. I was part of a private relationship my mother had with a peasant, on their terms. She abandoned me in favor of her husband and I was left all alone with a cruel family. Then I ran away and found myself here. Any questions?"
Misaki could only look at her in shock, "So... your mother did something she shouldn't have." Y/n nodded.
"Not even Usagi-San knows the extent of it. I only told him about my mother's relationship, not the part where she left me."
"I'm sorry Y/n."
She smiled, "Don't be... even if I learn to do things on my own, I'm taking great joy in everything, I hope things stay like this forever but everyone knows you can't run away from your past... it will always come back and bite you in the ass."
The feeling between them was awkward, "You know... how about later today we grab a bite. No Usagi-San this time."
"Sure, I've been meaning to get more study time." Misaki shook his head, "None of that, just talking."
Y/n smiled once again, "I'd like to go."
"Wait... L/N?!"
"SHUT UP!! DON'T SAY IT OUT LOUD!!"

"I never read much manga, I don't even know where to start."
Misaki lit up in excitement, "There's this great one called The☆Kan! It's amazing, I have to get the first volume from my room and show it to you."
Y/n took a sip of her F/d, "How about jobs? What do you plan to do?"
"I don't know, what about you?" Misaki ate a piece of his donut, "I was in between thoughts, an architect, then I thought maybe a singer but now I'm not sure."
Misaki pats her head, "Don't worry, we still have time."
"How about we stop at a bookstore, you can show me a few more mangas." Misaki's eyes gleamed once more and he quickly nodded. They paid for their drinks and left.
"What about this one? Or this one?" Misaki continued to pick out more manga and then more, "Over here!" Y/n hushed him and he apologized.
"I wondered, what did you do when your parents were away?"
"I often found myself sneaking in the library we have and reading until I had to run back to my room to avoid others." Y/n put her paid items in her bag.
"What kind of books did you have?"
"Rare ones that you could never find even in events."
Misaki's eyes widened even more, "Those books must've been great." Y/n nodded, "I may have stolen some." They both laugh as they walk towards the exit.
"So... you've got the one that took it." Y/n turned around and her eyes widened, knowing who that voice was and pissed off the moment she made eye contact with her.
"Long time no see, cousin." The younger girl, Olivia, smirked.
"Who are you again?" She pulled Misaki away, while Olivia continued following her, "Just listen to me!"
Y/n sighed, "Misaki, I'll see you later."
"Are you gonna be okay?"
"I'll be okay, I always have been."
