I knew what I had to do. Run away, never come back. That way now they wouldn't know where I was, not be able to follow me, I wouldn't have the risk of dying and maybe, just maybe I could get out of this horrid place. Even though the forest seemed to go forever, like it had no end, I felt some what trapped and claustrophobic. I turn around to see Ben get up, Dammit! That is my opportunity gone! For now anyway. "Hello" he says almost instantly. How did he know I was up? Did he see me? Where they watching me all night? He turns around with large and extremely obvious bags under his eyes. But why? "Hi" I say, a little too sternly than I meant to. I regain my place with a quick "Sleep well?" in a chirpy voice. Great now he knows that I'm faking. I am never that enthusiastic I think kicking myself for that mistake of pure idiocy. "Ah, yeah, I guess, well not really." Yeah right, obviously you had a horrible sleep, and he is not even trying to hide the bags. Either he has no idea they are there or he completely oblivious to the fact that his lie about his sleep being not that bad, is completely thrashed by the fact that he has these enormous dark bags under his eyes. But all I can get out without bring suspicion on myself is an "Um, okay". He looks down at the ground and then up at me, he freezes there, unable to moves squinting at something behind me. His eyes the open wide with fear, he is paralyzed. I turn around to see what caused this sudden fear. I swish my head aroiund and I can barley get out a scream....
