Chapter 1:
This was the moment I had been thinking about, wait no... dreaming about for my whole entire life. The smell of chlorine flushed through my small sensitive nose. The crowds thunderous cheers filled my delicate ears. Then I slowly peeled back my anxious eyes, to the beautiful scene of dazzling colour. Lots of colour and people. Everywhere. I knew I was not alone though. Not only were the happy encouraging crowd there, cheering on for me, but my incredible best friend, Becca was stood right beside me. Wishing me the best of luck, as always. People were generously smiling from ear to ear, jumping up and down, bursting with excitement and such enthusiasm. I suddenly then felt a small sense of pride welling up, growing bigger and bigger. I was then smiling happily, and brushing all the worries away. Far, far away.

Chapter 2:
I'm just a normal, average young girl at the age of 12. Jessica Saneve is my name, in which I hope I will be remembered through athletics history, instead of being a random, boring, school girl's name. I have shoulder length, strawberry blonde, curly hair. Mum is always saying that my 'beautiful' ocean blue sparkling eyes, bring out the only colour on my pale, ghost like face. Lots of my friends, that are my age, have a pretty- girly hobby like doing makeup or having mini fashion shows in front of the mirror. But my hobby is serious. I'm an athlete.
I train incredibly hard in my spare time. Mum says it's too much at my age, I just tell her- "That's the way I am- it's me and I don't ever want to change that."
Mum 's always motivating me to get on with my school work- I tell her there's plenty of time for that... after the race.
