Chapter 3:
I live with my Mum, Mums boyfriend and my 2 siblings. My Mother and Father sadly don't live together anymore, in fact I don't actually know who my real Father is... He left when I was still a baby. Fortunately Steve has come to live with us, I see him as my Dad now. My two siblings are: Becca, (my identical twin and my best friend) and my younger sister Gemma. It's great having a twin. We do everything together, we know everything about each other and we love the same things. Every race I enter- she's there, in the grand stand cheering me on. Gemma is annoying but I guess all little sibling can be like that, but she's family and I do love her.Chapter 4:

All different thoughts were now spinning around rapidly, like a hurricane, in my unfocused mind. Everything now became nothing but a big blur. My head was pounding vigorously, with confused, unwarranted thoughts. 'Am I ready for this? Have I trained hard enough? Is everything I've done... Enough?
"Jessica..." A small mumble, gradually met my ears.
"JESSICA!" A louder noise snapped me out of my gentle dreamland. A few seconds later I finally realised. My race was about to begin. The race I had trained for hours for. I couldn't miss it. I felt a tight warm squeeze on my hand as Becca wished me luck and some last minute words of encouragement. The last words that I heard her say before I was too distant to hear the rest, were: "Dream Forever And Never Say Never" which was our mini team slogan that we would repeat to each other and ourselves. My heart carried on thumping as I ran into position on the podium. '3...2...1...'
