"...and you can hear the girl break down crying."

Ricky looks up to see his girlfriend, Nini...just staring at Gina and him, crying. A look of sadness and guilt takes over his face. He instantly regretted meeting up with Gina. He hated seeing Nini upset, especially when it was his fault. Ricky runs up to Nini to try and comfort her.

"Neens it's not what it looks like, I promise!" Ricky says while reaching out for her hand. She pulls away from him.

"Ricky! It's exactly what it looks like." Nini responds while sobbing.

"Nini...just let me explain. Please! I'm sorry, I really am!" Ricky pleads.

While Ricky is trying to solve things with Nini...Gina is standing back behind them. Smiling. Her plan worked. Then, she slowly sneaks off before any of them realize.

"Ricky...I- ", Nini stutters, "I need some time okay?"

"Are you...breaking up with me? Taking a pause?" Ricky asks as tears start forming in his eyes.

"No, no no Ricky, I'm not doing any of that. I just need some space to think." She says as she turns around and walks away.

Ricky is left there, all alone, in the park. He falls onto his knees and breaks down crying. He regrets everything he did, and he hopes he can make it right. He stays there in the park just soaking in what happened. Eventually, it gets really late, and he drives home. One he arrives, he storms through the door crying. He walks into his bedroom and then collapses onto his bed...finally he manages to fall asleep.

{A couple days later}

Ricky has been calling and texting Nini nonstop to try and explain what happened. She's been reading them and either responds with simple one-word answers or just doesn't reply at all. Almost like she's avoiding him.

Ricky comes up with a plan to hopefully get her to forgive him.

[Text Messages]

"Hey...Neens. Can you meet me at the beach around 6pm?"

"You inviting Gina too?", She claps back.

"Nini...no. Why would I do that? Just trust me please."

"Fine...I'll think about it."

Ricky was glad she was thinking about it. He hoped that she would show up...

It was only 12pm but Ricky started gathering everything he was going to need for his plan.

{After a few hours}

It was now 5pm. An hour before they were supposed to meet up. Ricky decided on heading to the beach early so he could make sure everything was perfectly set up. On the way to the beach, Ricky starts to get nervous. Wondering if this will be good enough. All he wants to do is make his girlfriend the happiest person alive...but right now, he's failing at that.

{At the beach}

"Perfect. Hopefully she likes it.", he says to himself after setting everything up.

He sits down on the beach. 6pm is slowly occurring and no sign of Nini. Ricky starts to get a little nervous.

{After some time}

Ricky checks his phone time. The time is now 6:10. Ricky is slowly losing hope that she's going to show up. His phone buzzes and he looks at it to see a message from Big Red.

[Texts]

"Hey man! How's it goin?" Big Red questions.

"Dude...she hasn't shown up yet."

"Oh...sorry man. Maybe give it some time?"

Ricky puts his phone back into his pocket. He looks around once more. No Nini...
