There was something about Larry. Something that made Laurent change his plan for this guy as soon as he was pushed into his car. Laurent just couldn't resist making him his own. For the first time, he regretted not knowing how to love. He hated this damn connection with Larry, the constant need to feel him. To prove to this impudent boy who is really the boss here. And Larry did not even know about his power over the Beast. If Larry asked Laurent to do anything, Laurent would immediately do it, without even thinking. He will do anything for Larry except freedom.

Larry knew it was dangerous to work in a design studio, but he couldn't resist the need to have his own money. Independent income is independent of Laurent's money.

Laurent warned Larry about the danger. A couple of days ago, Larry noticed himself being followed by a couple of guys. Of course, Laurent made his guards look after his property. And just yesterday Laurent gave Larry a diamond stud in his ear. He himself fixed it in the earlobe with a sly smile. And Larry guessed that the value of the gift was not at all in carats in a diamond. Laurent also made him wear a watch with a GPS sensor.

But the main problem was not Laurent's paranoia, but Adam.

Laurent did not know how to be jealous, he overdid it. Literally. If you don't want to end your days in a wood chipper, you better not even breathe towards Larry.

But Adam did not see it. He saw a frightened boy so young and beautiful and tried with all his might to save him. More than once he started soul-saving conversations with Larry , invited him to have a drink after work, sent SMS with wishes of good morning or good night.

And Adam was still breathing because Larry hadn't told Laurent about it. Moreover, he silenced his pursuers about the gifts and flowers thrown into the trash.

Adam simply did not notice all the signs that Larry was giving. He believed that Larry was simply intimidated by such an unsociable and dangerous Laurent.

Therefore, one day, after the celebration of the completion of a major project, there was no same pleasant incident. After a bit of champagne, Adam went to Larry, who stayed behind to help clean up the office before closing for the weekend. Larry was rinsing his last glasses of soap suds when he felt someone hug him. It was not Laurent. It was Adam. Larry's body was numb, he did not know what to do, so he could not react in time before there were three whole events at the same time. Adam turned Larry around to face him. Adam kissed Larry. When Adam's lips touched Larry's, Larry saw Laurent walk into the office kitchen.

Fucked up.

Adam was thrown across half a room, so he landed on someone's desk and broke it in half. Larry hung around Laurent's neck, begging him to leave and leave Adam alone. Larry barely managed to get the Beast out of there.

They sat in the car in tense silence. Larry felt guilty, although he had done nothing bad, as well as good.

In the same silence, Larry leaned over the handbrake and touched Laurent's lips.

Laurent stared at Larry with his black, impenetrable eyes, still in his dark place. Larry was able to take him away. Was able to stop his madness. Laurent didn't need to ask these stupid romantic questions about why he had taken him away. Meaning that he was worried about Adam.

Laurent knew that Larry had done it for him. A stupid man can pay for his mistake in a different way ; death or being in intensive care is not an option at all. Larry saw it. Larry was worried about Laurent.

It's been seven months since Father sold Larry. And now he once again demanded a meeting with the beast in order to once again agree on the repayment of the debt.
