"I'm having some major flashbacks." Ezekiel mumbled as we walked towards the cafeteria.

We all snickered and continued walking towards the big building, following the students, from a distance, and the illusion of good smelling food. One would think that, a nice place like this, would have something sustainable and... edible, but no. They want us to starve. I know it. Thank the Lord that there will at least be some good food at the end of the week during the feast. That's something, I'm sure, everyone is looking forward to... especially a certain dark haired girl, whom I spotted walking in.

"Somethings not right about her." I heard Ana grumble and I knew she spotted her too.

"That's just your stomach talking, Ana." Roman said, rolling his eyes and earning a glare.

"Adriel," She addressed, turning to look at our oddly quiet friend. "Are you SURE you saw the vision correctly?"

He glared at her.

"Of course I saw it correctly!" He hissed. "I'm telling you guys, something's wrong and it has something to do with her!"

"Calm down, man." Ezekiel said and jumped back when Adriel's wings flared in anger.

"YOU CALM DOWN!" He roared and I took that as my cue to step in.

"Cool it, guys." I said, turning to look at them, while walking backwards. "Adriel, fold in and take a deep breath or two. Ana, chill out and back off. Adriel has never been wrong before, so I trust him. If he says we need to stay, then we need to stay."

I felt the wooden floor of the cafeteria beneath my foot and stopped walking when we were all inside the building.

Adriel's wings disappeared, before he walked in, and he scrubbed a hand over his face while Ana looked at me with crossed arms.

"I still think this is a waste of time." She said and we all groaned. "We should be out, fighting Carmac!"

"Ana, what part of 'bloodshed ' did you not understand?" Roman asked, looking at his sister. "If we leave and Adriel's prediction was correct, which we're assuming is, then lives could be lost. The school could perish."

"That's why we go after him!" She stressed. "If we stay here, and Adriel was wrong, then MORE lives would be lost and we'd have wasted all our time here!"

"Guys, I know I'm right!" Adriel barked. "I know what I saw! The school isn't s-"

"Shut up!" Ezekiel hissed, slapping a hand over Adriel's mouth before we drew unnecessary attention and raised a panic. "Do you WANNA be the cause of chaos?"

"Alright, guys, chill." I said, shutting things down before another fight broke out. "We're just gonna have to have some faith here and trust Adriel. His vision was about the school, after all, and we can't risk it. We need to protect our own. We have to st-"

I was interrupted by somebody running into my back and the feeling of food getting splattered all over.

My group's eyes went wide, the cafeteria went dead silent, and I just stood there.

Are you serious, right now?

"Hey, watch it!" A snarky voice barked from behind me. "Now you owe me breakfast!"

Oh really?

I slowly turned around, arms crossed, and wasn't too surprised to see that it was the dark haired girl whom was responsible.

Shocker.

I watched, observantly, as she tried wiping away at her breakfast covered shirt and was slightly taken aback when she looked up.
