Bumble beckoned to the remaining soldiers left to guard the Hive, as she flew out the main entrance, and over the ocean, where the Hive-Wings were advancing over. Her small army, were the only things separating from the fleeing Bee-Wings.
In the head of the Hive-Wing army, was Queen Vespa. 'Well, I guess she has come for revenge. Typical' Bumble thought to herself. When the war first started, she was excited. Excited for the thrill and rush of the fight that she often got when she trained. But she soon found out war was gruesome, and not at all like what she expected.
She tilted her wings, sweeping around to the back of her tiny troop, signaling for three Bee-Wings to break off and fly toward the other Hives of the Continent. It was only a matter of time until Goliath Hive fell, and the Hive-Wings moved to destroy the other hives.
"Queen Vespa," Bumble said, flying to the front of the group of Bee-Wings. "I see you have beat my army. Impressive,"
"It was only a matter of time, Queen Bumble," Vespa said waving her talons, causing the Hive-Wings to stop in mid-air, hovering in unison, their wingbeats matching one another. "Besides, I wasn't going to lose after what you did to my mother. Plus, it was always her dream of ruling the Bee-Wings. So I have come here to make a dream come true."
"Adorable, but you won't be ruling the Bee-Wings anytime soon. Because they won't be here," Bumble raised her eyebrow, and smirked. "They'll be long gone before you know it."
Vespa shrieked, and lunged at Bumble, seizing her neck. Bumble hissed, and kicked her back legs into Vespa's stomach, pulling out her poison-dipped disks. She threw one at Vespa, who dove neatly under her, her stinger out and ready to paralyze Bumble.
The two armies, (well Bumble's was more like a troop) began to fight. Dragons began falling from the sky, bleeding heavily. There were no healers, so if you got injured, you would either keep fighting until you died, or you just tried to kill yourself before the pain got too bad.
"I hope you didn't say you were going to return Bumble," Vespa snarled, as the two Queens continued to fight. Bumble rolled her eyes, and pressed a talon to her bleeding neck as she hovered backwards.
"Did I say I was? Well you kinda stole my line there. That makes me madder," Bumble said laughing, as she dove at Vespa, and slashed a claw across her side, the wound bubbling with red.
Vespa shrieked, and stabbed down with her stinger, paralyzing Bumble, who froze, and fell.
Down.
Down.
Down.
Into the ocean.
