Clays POV:

Clay woke up in a cold sweat it wasn't till he sat up and tasted salt that he realized he had been crying

She wasn't there it was just his brain she couldn't hurt him Well at least not anymore He got up to go get some water until he heard a noise

He tiptoed into the kitchen quietly until he saw her, Patches was there rolling around the floor at 3 AM

Clay let out a sigh of relief as he went to pick up his cat that he couldn't be mad at, not with those cute eyes that she stared at him with

He grabbed a Glass but as he was filling it with water he dropped it as he remembered

"Ah shit" he said under his breath as he went to go grab a broom he wondered what he would do when he got there

Where was he going you may ask

Well, Clay was going to visit his childhood best friend Wilbur in the UK in just two days

As he finished cleaning up all the broken glass off the floor he decided he text Wilbur sense he always got up early and Will's Time zone was five hours ahead

Gm will, hru

Almost immediately clay saw the three dots start typing

Im really good dude and excited to see you but why are you awake isn't it like 3:00 am there

Clay
Yah I Woke up from another nightmare about well you know but I'm really excited to see you too have you planned anything for us to do

Oh sorry that sucks if you ever want to talk about it I'm here but so far I don't have much planned but I have a few people I'd like you to meet

Sounds good I'll talk to you a little later for now I'm going to attempt to go back to sleep byeee :)

Clay was able to get some sleep witch he was happy for because he hasn't had much sleep Sense the well, incident 2 months ago

The next morning

The next morning clay woke up to 29 text messages from his best friend sapnap And 2 from Wilbur

When he checked the time he saw it was already 1:00 pm

Clay did not really care though because he had no plans for the day but he did need to start packing

He decided to see what the two idiots have sent

Hey sorry i slept in but I think my flight is at 11 pm tomorrow and luckily it will be a red eye so I won't have any connecting flights

Again almost immediately he saw the speech bubble pop up

That was one of the many things clay appreciated about Wilbur he wouldn't bullshit and wait to respond

Np I got to go I'm in the recording studio working on a new song maybe you can come with me and meet the band while your here :)

Wilbur was in a really well known band called lovejoy and he was the lead singer

Clay put his phone down and then finally started packing he was going to be there for 1 month so he packed 2 big suitcases

By this point is was 3:00 pm and Clay still had not eating all day so he paused the packing since he was already halfway done by now and went to his favorite restaurant

It was a local family owned Chinese restaurant clay loved it because they let you customize your own Ramen bowls

(A/n i'm pretty sure this is actually a thing I'm not 100% sure though please correct me if it's not and I'm just being stupid)

Clay happened to be a very picky eater so he would order Ramen with just the noodles and the broth

When Clay had finished and went back to his House he finally finished packing

For the rest of the day he re-watched his favorite TV show outer banks for the 6th Time

By the time he had finished it was 8 PM so Dream just went on his phone until he fell asleep at 9:00

Clay had no sleep schedule and would vary from falling asleep at 6:00 pm to 5:00 am

A/n hello thank you for reading I really hope you enjoyed since this was my first fanfic and first chapter

This chapter was slow but it will pick up around chapter 3 I think

i'm busy next week but the week after I promise I'll try to upload a lot
