Today was the most exciting time of the year, a baby angel was being born and all of the angels from in the choir were coming the celebrate the birth of a new angel.

The newborn angel's name and gender had yet to be announced to the public, but most thought and hoped it would be a boy. Though some had hoped for a girl, those angels did not know the turmoil that their kingdom could face if they were to not have a boy.

The parents of the angel were more than enthralled to be having a baby and the other angels were just as happy for them. They all had one emotion on that day and that was pure excitement and joy. Regardless of the babies' gender, they would still love and accepted, but they prayed to the goddesses above that they would be in our favor.

The sky was clear except for the few clouds that could be seen here and there.

Inside the kingdom of Ucrouvia, the parents held their newborn baby in their arms and awaited to walk through the doors to give the news to the awaiting people of their kingdom.

Demitri looked over to his wife and saw the worried expression that sat upon her face. "Breath mi amore, we are in this together." He softly kissed her temple to ease her worries, but truth be told he was far more nervous than she was. She immediately melted into his touch and felt at ease.

"Junto con nuestro amor podemos sobrevivir a todo". Gianna said out loud as she intertwined her hand that wasn't holding their child with her husband.                                                                           [ Translation: "Together with our love we can survive everything". ]

"Igualmente". He said before they decided to deliver the news to the people.                                      [ Translation: "Likewise". ]

They both arose from the ground, their wings upholding them so they hovered slightly. They both had the largest smiles gracing their faces.

The large brown doors began to open slowly, and the people started to cheer, each one expressing their enjoyment of having a new member of the choir.

Dimitri began talking first. "We have the pleasure of announcing our babygirl Aestrella into this world." He took a long pause before continuing his announcement. "We have no doubts that each of you will treat our daughter with the same kindness and respect you show everyone else". His voice boomed loudly throughout the crowd of people.

Gianna began to speak after her husband "She is no different than the rest of you, We love you all and he hope that you all will see to it that she will be protected in tragic the event that we can not". Everyone seemed to sober up at her sentence and all nodded their heads in agreement. She took a brief moment to pause, Demitri squeezed her hand for reassurance

Gianna continued her announcement "She will be treated as equal, regardless of her title, she is more like you than you all know-"

Her sentence was cut short when an angel came rushing in the middle of the ceremony.

Geneviève's mind raced as her heart rate finally began to slow down. She had been flying around for hours on end but her head would not stop spinning. Her wings keeping her afloat in the sky. The clouds in blue the sky surrounded her to the point she was immersed within them. She stared at the ground below her, only to suddenly see two bright blue glowing things that looked like eyes starring right back at her.

She blinked her eyes a few times then opened them thinking her mind was just been playing tricks on her. But the moment she felt a large gust of wind she immediately felt goosebumps prickling her skin.

She started shivering rubbing her arms to create some sort of friction on them to keep her warm. But she stopped her movements when she realized that the once white fluffy clouds had begun to turn into dark grey clouds that were now producing snow.

It had been over multiple decades since she had last seen any sign of snow.

Immediately she rushed to tell her Queen and King the news already forgetting what she had seen.

Geneviève stopped inform of her king and queen and bowed her head out of respect. Her breath was extremely labored.

"Snow." There was a long pause as she tried to catch her breath. Every other angel looked at her questioningly, waiting for her to continue.

Once her breathing slowed she tried to finish her sentence. "Snow, I saw snow!"

You could hear the gasps be heard from among the crowd, it had been decades since any type of weather had been seen, and it caused the kingdom to suffer greatly. More droughts had been appearing, and the water supply and food had to be cut short due to the lack of crops being produced.

If only the people had known how wrong their queen was that day. If only the people knew that Aestrella was not like any other angel, she was the key to all their problems and more. But no one knew of the problems she brought unto the kingdom that day.

Aestrella was a natural-born queen, but just as much as the people needed their queen, A king needs his queen more.
