Chapter Eleven •A Place In This World•

Danielle
*Two weeks later*

"Danielle, I don't think I can go another round." Stefania said breathing hard.
"Come on, one more round?"
I had been extra in the mood the past week, and Stefania was having a hard time keeping up.
"Bambina, we've already had sex five times this morning. And we have to go to the doctors appointment. I need a break. I think you're trying to kill me." She said with a laugh.
"Okay." I pouted.

We got out of bed, and got dressed.
"Did you tell everyone about coming over and watching the finale tonight?" I asked.
"Sì. I'm so excited to see the fan's reactions to the episode tonight."
"I am too. I hope they can't tell anything." I sighed. I didn't have a bump yet, but I was definitely bloated. My belly was starting to get harder.
We had to rush to finish the Maya and Carina scenes, due to me being off so much. Thankfully we got it done two weeks before the finale.

"It'll be fine bambina." She gave me a peck on the lips, then leaned down and kissed my belly.
"Are you gonna do that every day?" I asked with a laugh.
"Yes. They need to know how much they're loved by mamma and mommy." She said with a smile.

*At the doctors office*

"How are you feeling Miss Savre?" Doctor Hannigan asked.
"Tired. And nauseous. I'm not throwing up as much anymore, so that's a bonus."
"All normal signs of pregnancy. We're just gonna check out the babies heart beat real quick. And you said you're around nine weeks?"
"Yes."
"Okay. Let's hear the little one's heart beat."
He pressed the Doppler to my stomach, and moved it around a little bit.
A few seconds later, the room was filled with the babies heart beat. It sounded like a galloping horse.
"Oh Stef, do you hear that?" I smiled with tears in my eyes.
"Sì. Our little bambina or bambino." She squeezed my hand.
"Everything sounds great. We'd like you to come back at twelve weeks to do some blood work. And then after that, is your twenty week appointment where you can see your baby." He said putting the Doppler up.

We thanked him and left.

"I can't believe it." I said as we got in her car.
"Me neither bambina. Our baby is happy and healthy." She reached over and squeezed my hand.

She started driving to our house.
"You can still run you know." I said abruptly.
"What?" Stefania asked with a laugh.
"You can still run. You don't have to do this with me. I just want you to know, that you're not obligated to stay with me. I know this is a lot for me to ask you to do."

She pulled into the driveway, and put the car in park.
"Let's get one thing straight Danielle. You never asked me to stay. I want to stay. As far as I'm concerned, this is our baby. Is it a good circumstance? No. But I'm here, and I'm staying, for you and our baby."
"I love you. So, so much." I leaned over and gave her a kiss.
"And I love you. The both of you."

We got out of the car, and walked inside.

"What time is everyone coming over?" I asked.
"In an hour. I'm just ordering take out for everyone." She turned her back and fiddled with something on the counter.
"Does that mean we have enough time for sex?" I wrapped my arms around her from behind.

"Danielle, are you trying to kill me?" She asked with a small laugh.
"I can't help that my girlfriend is super sexy." I lowered my hands and unbuttoned her jeans.

Stefania relaxed her body, and leaned into me as I slipped my hand past her panties.
"I want you right here, right now." I whispered in her ear as I drew circles on her clit.

"Right here? Bambina we have friends coming over!" She tried to protest.
"We can clean the counter. It'll be fine."

*An hour later*

"Come in!" I shouted from the kitchen.
Our friends walked in the house, and made their way to the kitchen.
"How's it goin?" Jay asked.
"I'd think her day's going pretty good from the hickies on her neck." Jason joked.
"Oh shut up." I said, my face turning red.

"Where's Danielle?" Jaina asked.
"I'm pretty sure she's throwing up in the bathroom. You can try to go in there, she told me not to come in." I sighed.

Jaina walked out of the kitchen and into our bedroom.
"Is she being super moody today?" Barrett asked.
"Off and on. It goes from happy, to tired, to hungry, to sad, to horny, to pissed off." I ran my fingers through my hair.
"But just think what you're getting out of it." She said with a smile.
"Oh I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I'm completely, and totally in love."

Jaina walked with Danielle back into the kitchen. Danielle had a screwed up look on her face.
"Are you okay bella?" I asked.
"My best friend just saw me barf. I don't like people watching me throw up." She mumbled.
"Oh get over it. You're pregnant. I'm gonna help as much as you'll let me." Jaina scolded.

"How did the appointment go today?" Boris asked.
"It went good. Baby's heart beat is strong. We go back in a few weeks." Danielle said, leaning against the front of my body.

"Do you all wanna do Instagram live? The episode is gonna start in a bit." Danielle asked.
"Sure! Get it started Savre." Jay said with a smile.

We all gathered on the couch, and I set my phone up.

"Hello, hello!" I said excitedly as people started joining our live.
"Happy Station 19 and Grey's Day!" Stefania said excitedly.
"I'm so excited to see this finale. You guys are gonna love it!" Jaina said with a wink to the phone.

*Time jump to the twenty week appointment*

"Miss Savre?" The nurse called from the doorway.
"We're here!" I said excitedly.
I grabbed Stefania's hand, and we followed the nurse back to the room.
"Go ahead and sit on the table. The doctor will be in shortly." He shut the door, and left us alone.
"I'm excited to find out the gender. Are you?" I asked.
"Sì bambina. Very."

Stefania had been acting weird today. Was she nervous?
"Hello ladies!" Doctor Hannigan said walking in.
"Hey Doc." I said with a small smile.
"How are you feeling Danielle?"
"The morning sickness has gone away so far. I'm just tired and I feel huge." I said with a laugh.
I had gained about fifteen pounds so far.
"Are you two ready to find out the sex of your baby?" He asked as he put some jelly on my stomach.
The baby immediately kicked when it felt the cold jelly.
"Already a fighter I see." I said with a small laugh.

He put the ultrasound stick on my belly, and moved it around a bit.
"Alright, there's the fingers. Ten of those. There's the face."
I gripped Stefania's hand, squeezing it gently.
"Alrighty, and there's what we're looking for." He pointed to the screen.

"Is that?" I asked.
"Yes it is. Congratulations you're having a boy." He said with a smile.
