I will never get used to driving in England.
To be fair I was a pretty shit driver in the US as well, but the whole thing is opposite. It doesn't help that London traffic is a new definition of hell.
My job makes it worth it though. I help design and evaluate games. I'm still taking classes part time, but my dream is to make quality gaming material.
I didn't have the best childhood, and one of the things that got me through it all was escaping into a new world of gaming. Its more than a hobby, it genuinely makes me happy. Most people, like my parents, have a hard time understanding, but its just what I enjoy. They supported it more when I got the huge job offer over here and even a place to live. They didn't mention the standstill traffic though.
"Whoa!" I say as I get cut off. "Asshole." To be fair I do get lost in thought sometimes and I should be careful before--
"HEY!!" Yells the guy who I just nearly hit. "Holy fuck balls..." I almost had a heart attack, I could only imagine how he felt.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry." I say, and I really was. "Its alright, I know how easy it is to zone out. There is something you can do to make it up to me though," he says with a smirk. He walks up to my window and rest his arm on the doorframe looking down at me. Wow, could I have almost hit a hotter guy?!
"And what would that be?" I say trying to sound flirty and smooth. Never really was great with that. "Maybe your number, so we can go out sometime. Oh, and I'll drive, I'd like to make it back home." He says with a laugh. I love a guy with a good sense of humor, and who isn't all about flattery.
I reach over and grab a pen and a napkin and write down my information. "My names Taylor. And do I get to know the name of my almost victim?" I say with a smile. I gave up on the flirting, I probably won't have a real shot with him anyway. So hot... Yet he's got such depth in his eyes. Sharing his gazes gives me a buzz in my stomach, almost like I'm always trying to catch my breath.
"Simon, and you might wanna get a move on before you start a back up," he nods his head at the cars coming behind me. "Shit, alright, till next time then."
Till next timeee
Feedback would be nice
