Little demon

Part 5! (flashback)

     "Go, on," Killua said. "Ok, ok" I sighed.

-Flashback at 4 years old-

"MOM, STOP" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Look away Hina, I don't want you to see this," my crying brother said. "No, I want mommy to stop hurting big sister!" "Me too Hina, me too" he sighed. Boom I heard a gun go off. "Big brother what was that!" I yelled. I felt his tears drop down my head as he hugged me tightly. "Don't do anything to upset mommy anymore, ok", "Ok, but is big sister ok, I can't hear her?" I asked. "Hina open your eyes now" I heard my mom say. "No, Hina don't!" My brother begged me not to, but I still did. When I opened my eyes, all I saw was blood dripping from my sister's head. I broke out of my brothers' grip and ran to my sister. "Big sister?" I said, I waited for a response, but none came. "Mizuki?" I started crying. Then I felt someone slap my face, causing me to fall. "DON'T EVER SAY THAT NAME AGAIN" my mom yelled at me. Tears continued to drip down my face, "sorry, mommy" I cried, "good, now don't be a failure like your big sister was" she smiled. "Ok mommy" I continued crying. Then she got down on her knees and said "Hina Hunny, always remember, with those pink eyes and hair you're the pride of our family." She lifted my face to look at my eyes and then glared "so don't let me down" and she pushed my face back down. "Katsu, make her stop crying, now" she commanded my brother. "I planned to" he seethed. "Was that attitude I hear" She sent shivers down his back, "no mother" he said. Then, through all of his pain, he smiled and cheerfully said "want ice cream?" I could only nod. 

-End of flashback-     

     "Wow, I kinda feel sorry for the dude now" Killua sighed. "That's not it though." I took a deep breath and continued.

-Flashback at 9-

     "Big brother, come watch this show with me!" I exclaimed running into my brothers' room. I saw tears dripping down his face. "Hey, Hina, can you come here please?" He asked me quietly. I nodded and walked into his room. I sat on the bed and asked him "what's wrong?" "You won't be seeing me for a very long time" he sobbed, "what why?" I started crying. "Mom is going to kill me like big sister if I don't run away." "I can run away with you!" I screamed. "No Hina, It's too dangerous for you to run away at this age!" "But big brother-!" "No buts Hina!" He interrupted me, "I will see you again and when that time happens I won't leave you ok" he promised me, "Ok," I said crying and holding up my pinky finger "Pinky-promise?" I cried. He wrapped his pinky finger around mine, then we put our thumbs together, "pinky promise" he smiled and pulled me into a hug" 

     I woke up at three in the morning to my mother screaming. When I came out of my room I asked her "what's wrong?" "SHUT UP!" she screamed. Then she smiled and spoke fast and with anger "do you know where big brother is?" This was my very first time lying, ever. "No," I shook my head. "Ugh, useless child." She mumbled. And ran to go find him.

-End of flashback-

"Wow, that's not that bad, but still sucks" Killua sighed. "Yep" I agreed. "Wheres your dad in all of this though?" He asked, "My dad, don't know him" I giggled. "How are you laughing at that?" Killua laughed. "Your brother said that you killed her, what's that about?" He asked, "I'm about to say that" I whined.

-Flashback to 10- 

     "Hey, mother?" I said eating, "yes?" She rolled her eyes. "What happened to dad?" I questioned. Right then, she dropped her fork and yelled "YOU, YOU LITTLE DEMON, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!" "What do you mean?" I stuttered. She slammed her hands on the table "NEVER ASK ABOUT HIM AGAIN!" She hollered. "Ok," I sighed. After some time of letting her calm down, I asked the question that started this. "Why did you kill big sister?" "YOU LITTLE DEMON," She screamed at the top of her lungs. She got up, ran over to me, and pushed me off the chair. "I KILLED HER BECAUSE SHE WAS A WHORE" She snapped. I didn't know what I was doing, but I remember that she pulled out a gun and aimed it me. Right then I got up and she yelled again "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" She yelled. "Shut up," I said walking towards her backing her up into a corner. "Little demon" she cried out as she fell to the ground and took the gun. She looked into my eyes and said "How can such beautiful eyes be so evil", "because I'm a little demon!" Then I shot her in the head, just like she did with my older sister, who I can't even remember the name to. 

-End of flashback-

"Wow," Killua said surprised. "How can you still be so cheerful even after that?" He asked with nothing but worry in his eyes. I smiled, "There's more that I've been through." "Like what?" he asked. "I only agreed to tell you about what happened, no more" I sighed. "Whatever" he laughed. I felt him grab my hand, and then he put his arms around me, "you need this idiot" he smiled. I felt a tear drip down my face and onto his shoulder. I smiled and, hugged him back "Thank you, Killua"
