Naira went to her room and saw Aarav sitting on the bed and was crying heavily her heart pinched seeing him like this..... she didn't liked when Aarav cries she immediately went to him and hugged him tightly he to hid his face in her chest and was crying..... this was the first time kartik has scolded him he was very upset and angry on him..... he was hurt.... she too was hurt and wanted to cry but she can't..... she have to console him also....... se rubbed his back to console him...... but he was not stopping......
here kartik sat on the couch with a thud and held his head in stress..... did some deep breathing to calm himself...... after a few minutes he was calm and decide not to think about "that incident" anymore...... when he was calming himself he realized how he behaved with Aarav, how he ran upstairs while crying..... his crying face came in front of his eyes, how he shouted at Naira, what all he said to her, her emotionless face, her tears everything came in front of his eyes like a film and he got up with a jerk.....
K: ye kya kar diya maine..... Aarav pe itni zor se chilla diya.... use kitna bura laga hoga... aaj tak mai uspe kabhi nahi chillaya aur aaj.... aur Naira..... usse toh maine pata nahi kya kya bol diya.... kitna hurt hui hogi voh, usne toh mujhse ek dost hone k naate poocha tha aur maine apna sara gusaa aur frustration uspe nikal diya... itna bada gadha kaise ho sakta hau tu kartik.... mujhe undono ko manana hoga, sorry bolna hoga....
and he ran upstairs to see them... here Aarav slept while crying clinging to her body..... she made him lay properly on the bed and kissed his forehead..... the dam of emotions and tears broke and she started crying, the tears which she was holding for so long started coming out of her eyes..... she was crying silently keeping her hand on her mouth so that Aarav didn't get up..... unable hold her cries she kept Pillow beside Aarav and ran to the washroom and turn on the shower and sat there crying loudly thinking about the words kartik said to her..... the person she loves a lot doesn't even consider her this much worth as a friend to share his problems with and here she has dreamt of sharing lives with each other......
Kartik entered the room and saw Aarav sleeping on the bed but Naira was nowhere to be found just then he heard sound of shower and with that there was a mixed sound of loud cries...... his heart pinched listening to her cries he went near the bed and held Aarav's hand and kissed it..... alone tear escaped his eyes
K: I am sorry bachha..... papa ne aap k upar chillaya na.... papa bohot bure hai but I am sorry beta....apne dukh mein maine aapko hurt kar diya.... please papa ko maaf kar dena mai aisa fir kabhi nahi karunga.... please naaraz matt hona nahi toh papa jee nahi paenge bachha.... aapke alawa koi nahi hai....
few more tears escaped his eyes and he kissed Aarav all over his face and was staring at him just then the washroom door opened and she came out with red and puffy eyes and pale face she saw him sitting near Aarav and turned her face and left the room he tried to stop her by calling her name but she didn't stopped and went directly to the terrace..... kartik came out of the room he asked a servant to sit near Aarav and call then if he wakes up and went behind her to the terrace she was standing near the railing and watching the stars...... she was still sobbing Kartik went and stood behind her and tapped her shoulder
K: (softly): Naira........
she quickly wiped her tears and turned to him and he saw her tear stricken face which pinched his heart..... it pinched more because the reason of her hurt is him...... she didn't wanted to talk to him so she was about to go away when he held her wrist......
N: Mr. Goenka please mera haath chhodiye.....
K: nahi Naira..... please meri baat ek baar sunn lo..... please Naira I am sorry..... I am really sorry
N: kitni baar sorry bolenge sir.....? kis kis cheez k liye bolenge??
K: har uss cheez k liye jo maine kiya hai aur jisse tumhe hurt hua hai...... I am sorry Naira...... maine tumhare saath aise behave kiya, Aarav k saath aise behave kiya...... but I don't know mujhe kya ho gaya tha.... kuch soch hi nahi paa raha tha...... sirf apna dukh apna stress dikh raha tha..... mai dusro ko kitna hurt kar raha hu ye mujhe dikh hi nahi raha tha...... I know maine galti ki hai please mujhe maaf kar do..... aise naraz matt raho..... itne time baad mai kisi k saath itna comfortable hua hu.... tum meri sabse achhi dost ho Naira..... please mujhe aise Mr. Goenka aur Sir matt bulao......
N: par shayad mai ek achhi dost nahi ban payi na..... shayad aapke liye ek employee aur Aarav k liye ek nanny se zyada mai kuch nahi hu....(crying)
K: nahi Naira.... aisa kuch nahi hai.... voh sab bass gusse mein nikal gaya mere muh se..... I never meant any of that.... tum meri sabse achhi dost ho aur Aairav k liye toh aisa lagta hai ki tum hi sab kuch ho..... voh ek baar ko mere bina reh sakta hai but tumhare bina nahi reh sakta.......
N: agar itni achhi dost mante ho toh kyu nahi batate ki kya baat hai?? kya baat hai jo tumhe pareshan kar rahi hai?? batao kartik..... kal tak toh tum thik the....achanak aaj kya ho gaya...... kuch hua hai kya?? kisi ne kuch kaha?? kisi ne kuch kiya hai kya??
K:(unable toh hold his emotion anymore he screamed out) ha...... hua hai...... kiya hai kisi ne kuch.....
N:(not leaving the chance) kya hua hai.... kisne kiya hai.....
K: bhagwan ne kiya hai..... unhone meri zindagi barbad kar di.... today was the day Naira....one year back today was the day when I became orphan..... when my whole family died.... meri maa, mere papa..... my dadi..... Naira they all died on this day......
and he sat on the floor with a thud and started crying heavily hiding his face with his palms...... and hearing all this the floor slipped below Naira's feet and she was in tears till now.... she can feel his pain she has also lost her family she immediately hugged him tightly to comfort him as this is the thing which is most needed for him he too hugged her back and cried on her shoulders....... and pour out his feelings....
✽ The hurt was huge and so was the reason..... do you think Naira should forgive him?
