Chapter 14

Okay so first of all really very sorry for being super late but I really don't get time to write these days and the work pressures is too much..... I will try my best to update as frequent as possible.... I cannot promise but maybe every alternate days I will try to give you all an update..... also to the people who also read my other story.... I will be giving you an update to that as well most probably till 6 in the evening so please be a little more patient..... thank you for showing so much support till now.... now lets start with the story

she went to her room and opened google and searched about Kartik and Riya....... she saw their engagement photo's they were looking happy..... or we can say Riya was looking happy kartik had a small smile on his face.... she was broken now..... now it is confirmed that he is engaged and can never be hers........ tears started flowing from her eyes this was heartbreaking for her.... her first love remained incomplete......... she was crying a lot but suddenly stopped when she heard Aarav's voice who was calling her she immediately wiped her tears and washed her face quickly and went towards the hall where he was playing and got busy with him but still her heart was not at rest..... she still was going through the pain of heartbreak..... during the dinner time she was making dinner for them while kartik had already came back from the office and came back to the hall after getting freshen up...... Naira didn't came out of the Kitchen even once.....

Kartik asked Aarav who was watching TV about Naira..... he told that she is making dinner he went inside the kitchen and saw her making food and was busy thinking about something looking at nothing specific...... he went towards her but while he was going near her she moved her hand a little bit and it touched the cooker kept on the stove and got burned but still it had no effect on her but he had a great reaction to this..... he immediately went near her and held her hand and put in under the cold running water in the sink...... it was then when she came out of her trance and felt the pain...... she looked at kartik and then at her hand and then again at kartik helping her..... a lone escaped her eyes.....

K: (taunting)ab tumhe pain ho raha hai...... jab jala tha tab toh koi reaction nahi tha tumhara....... kaha dhyan tha tumhara?? kya soch rahi thi ki itna pain tak feel nahi hua??

N:(thinking) ye pain uss pain ke saamne kuch nahi hai jo mere dil ko hua hai...... aur tum inn aasuo ki baat kar rahe ho..... ye toh kisi aur hi dard ke aasu hai jo ab nikle hai.... 

K: Naira..... Naira..... Naira(shaking her)..... kaha khoi hui thi?? chalo jaldi se bahar couch pe baitho mai first aid kar deta hu nahi toh problem hogi.......

N: tum...... tum rehne do kartik..... ma....mai kar leti hu....

K: bilkul chup..... tum bass yaha pe chup chap baithi rahogi...... aur mujhe mera kaam karne dogi...... samjhi.....

he made her sit on the couch and went inside and came back with Ice and first aid box...... he sat beside her and took her hand in his and rubbed ice cube on it to cool it down..... he was continuously scolding her for not paying attention but she was lest bothered about it.... at that moment she wasn't even feeling any pain except that of heartbreak......  he then wiped the water from the wound and applied antiseptic cream on it..... while he was applying the cream Naira asked

N: kartik.....

K: hmm??

N: tumne mujhe bataya nahi ki tumhari engagement ho chuki hai......

and listening to this kartik stopped in between for a minute but then continued his work....

K: sorry voh mujhe yaad hi nahi raha.... aur mujhe laga tumhe pehle se pata hoga iss baare me

N: mujhe kaise pata hoga?? mai social media use nahi karti, aur na hi tum engagement ring pehnte ho..... 

K: voh...... ring lose hai isliye maine use sambhal ke rakha hai.....

N: hmm....(getting up) kartik tum aur Aarav dinner kar lo mai room me jaa rahi hu mujhe neend aa rahi hai

K: par tumne dinner toh kiya hi nahi..... tum pehle dinner kar lo fir jana.....

N: please kartik..... mera mann nahi hai.....  (to Aarav) Champ.... aaj aap apne aap dinner kar lo please....

A:(sadly) okay bestie....

N:thank you baby....... 

and then she moved to her room and locked the door and cried thinking about their moments together and slept crying..... here Kartik found something strange in her behavior today but he brushed off the feeling and had his dinner and after that he took Aarav to his room as he didn't wanted to disturb Naira.......

A few weeks have passed since she got to know about Riya and Kartik..... now she was trying to accept the fact and was trying to maintain some distance from kartik but not suddenly but slowly she was trying her best to stay away from him but sometimes she couldn't just hold her emotion and gives in to the emotion Kartik also sometimes feels the distance which has started coming between them but every time chucked it off from his mind..... she was normal with Aarav..... nothing changed between them due to the heartbreak...... 

she also read some articles about Riya and she mentioned in all the latest articles that how much she loves Kartik and Kartik also loves her a lot..... God knows if its true because Naira just can't believe her words as she was not getting good vibes from her and also he never saw kartik talking about her or talking to her over call........ Naira got to know that tomorrow is kartik's birthday and she has decided that she will do something special for him..... 

No matter how hurt she was by the fact that he can't be his but she will do everything to make him happy and feel special.... she and Aarav discussed many things for Kartik's birthday and also went for shopping for his birthday as Aarav needs to take some gift for his father..... so Naira took him for shopping with herself and she too bought gift for Kartik and other items required for a small house party as he didn't like so much of big parties on his birthday...... later that day kartik came back from the office and had his dinner..... he forgot about his birthday and went to the study room to do some work..... Naira also went to her room and made Aarav sleep after sometime she went to the kitchen and started decorating the cake which she had already made before his coming back...... finally when she was done with the decoration she saw the time it was 11:45pm the lights of his study room was still on which means he is still awake.......

✽ why is god so unfair with good people? the girl who never did wrong to anyone is getting one heartbreak after another.....

✽ what has destiny planned for these two souls ??  

✽ sometimes the inside pain is much much more bigger then that of the external injury that it depress the pain of physical injuries to the extent were they feel negligible..... and that is the case with Naira right now
