Sometimes I wish
I could just make time freeze
Time to just stop
And reflect as I please
Sometimes I wish
I could just take it back
Maybe unsend
For the grace that I lack
Sometimes I wish
That I had self respect
Loving myself
Not this stupid reject
Sometimes I wish
I felt happy nor sad
Emotions stopped
For that I would be glad
Sometimes I wish
We had never started
But looking back
I'd be broken hearted
Sometimes I wish
For no days like today
But they still must
Sunny skies still have grey
Sometimes I wish
For many different things
As life is hard
The tragedy it brings
Sometimes I wish
But deep down I do know
That this is it
And is how it must go
