The New Beginning.

(Recap) Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Dal who's at the door?!" Xena shouted from her room, "I don't know, Ivy go check I'm busy," Dalphia says as she rolls her eyes. "Fine," grumbled Ivy as she goes to open the door. She opens the door to see an average height, slim figured, dark-haired, bright-eyed, teen boy smiling brightly at her with curiosity. "Welcome to Cheltenham, my friends and I saw you guys move in, I'm Lucas and these are my roommates, Felix and Elio," Lucas said as he pointed to his friends who stood awkwardly behind him as they argued quietly about who would say hi first. Dalphia got up from the couch and walked next to Ivy after hearing the sound of boys, "Who's your friend?" she said with a sly smirk. Ivy rolled her eyes, "These are our dorm house neighbors, Lucas, Elio, and Felix." she said as Elio waved awkwardly. Felix blushed as he saw Dalphia's look of excitement. "And do you guys have names?" Elio said with his very attractive British accent that immediately brought Xena out of her sleep. Xena and Athena appeared at the doorway beside them to see what the commotion was. "Oh look who's awake," Dalphia cheered as Athena and Xena drowsily nodded. "This is Dalphia, Athena, Xena and I'm Ivy," said Ivy as she points to each of them.

Dalphia then invited the boys into the dorm and showed them around their small dorm house, which was quite messy due to their recent arrival and unpacking. Xena went to sit on the couch as she watched Dalphia jokingly flirt with Felix and Ivy showing Lucas her Cheeto collection which he was very amused by. "Spicy Cheetos is my favorite snack, what's yours?" Ivy said as she looked at Lucas. "Omg, same," Lucas exclaimed as they both laughed. "Do you want one?" Ivy asked as she picked up a pack, "yeah sure," Lucas replied as Ivy handed him a pack. Ivy was aware that she had developed a crush on Lucas and his charming, British accent. They both ate a pack and talked about things they liked. "You know you're really short," exclaimed Lucas as he finished and threw the pack away, Ivy blushed a lot and looked away, and washed her hand. "You're really tall Lucas do you expect me to be your height," Ivy said while leaning on the counter. "I also need to unpack so you maybe need to go," as Ivy walked to her room, "I can help," exclaimed Lucas as he followed her. "My friends don't really like to see boys in my room unless we're dating," he giggled and said "we'll leave the door open," Ivy sighed and mumbled "fine," and led him to her room. "You start with the shoes and I'll start with the bathroom," Ivy muttered to Lucas. "Okay!" Lucas exclaimed and started to unpack, Ivy smiled and blushed a little at his adorable expression.

Dalphia and Felix left the dorm house to explore the campus while Ivy and Lucas talked about their love for Cheetos. Felix had offered to give her a tour. They laughed and talked their way to the school's large garden, where they sat on one of the oak wood benches. They began a conversation about the school's head principal and joked, "Mrs. Jimton isn't someone to mess with, especially after her husband left her for that model," Felix said with a chuckle, and Dalphia laughed so loudly that you'd think half the school heard her. "Oh no, you didn't, hahaha, you're so adorable, you're now my best friend," Dalphia said. Felix blushed at Dalphia's "teasing." "Come on, I'd like to show you something," Dalphia exclaimed as she grabbed Felix's hand and led him into the garden as if was luring a mouse with a piece of cheese.

Dalphia and Felix made their way through the garden, which was filled with dandelions and other beautiful flowers planted by previous students until they came to a small pond surrounded by rocks, flowers, and a mini waterfall. A school of koi fish and other unusual sea creatures could be found in the pond. Felix took a moment to take in the beautiful scenery before asking, "Omg, where in the world did this pond come from, I've never seen this here before?" "Well, it's my pond," Dalphia said, chuckling slightly. "I had this built over the summer for me before I arrived because I really, really wanted one." Felix was astounded; he couldn't believe Mrs. Jimton had allowed her to have her own pond. Felix saw a small turtle and asked about it when Dalphia exclaimed "Don't touch it! That's Ivy's pet that child doesn't like people touching her pets" he nodded and they continued to talk about the pond when Dalphia almost fell into the pond. She slipped on a rock and was very close to swimming with the fishes when Felix caught her and placed her back on the ground, the two stared deeply into the eyes of each other like if they were in a trance, some may call it "a moment" while others, like Dalphia, would say its a "friendly moment". Felix's heart was beating like a drum when the two walked back to the dorms holding hands.

While the other girls played around, Xena was about to head back to her room to water her plants and unpack her books when Elio asked if he could join her. Obviously, she accepted, why would she ever decline having a handsome British boy alone in her dorm room with her. As they walked into her room, she remembered how messy it was before she fell asleep, her bras all over her bed, her underwear and clothes sprawled all over the ground, her books all over her desk, and her frog, Booby, sat in his little glass container waiting patiently for Xena to set up his tank. She quickly apologized for the slightly inappropriate mess as she tried to pick up her clothes and stuffed them back into her suitcase. "It's okay, don't worry, I've seen a bra before I have sisters." Elio laughed as he took a seat by her desk. "I know but I don't want you seeing my bra just yet sir" Xena jokingly said as she started putting her books in order. "What's this little guy's name?" Elio asked pointing to her frog, "That's Booby, I know it's a weird name but it's fitting," "Oh okay, it's not weird it's just... special, yeah definitely," Elio nodded sarcastically. Xena rolled her eyes and took a seat on her bed, "Your hair's so curly, can I touch it?" Xena asked smiling widely, Elio chuckled "Yeah sure," he replied as he leaned over for her to touch it. She softly ran her fingers through his thick, curly, black hair. He blushed softly and smiled at her. They looked into each other's eyes for a while she admired his smile, how his face lit up, how his brown eyes shun under the light, Elio looked away after a while blushing profusely. She pushed her thoughts away 'Xena you can't fall for this boy,' she thought as she laid back on her bed looking up at her ceiling ignoring Elio playing with her frog, 'He's just a friend.' she repeated constantly in her head.
