The rest of the girls met up with Xena and Elio at the school's garden. They all sat on the grass in a circle, each talking about their first-period classes. "Dal guess what happened during class," Ivy said while poking Dalphia in her side constantly. "I don't know just tell me," Dalphia groaned, laying back on the grass. "I had to sit next to Louie during class and he touched my arm," Ivy said with a huge smile plastered on her face. "WOW really? nobody cares." Xena said in a sarcastic tone, resting her head in Elio's lap. Elio let out a chuckle as he was texting his friends and playing with Xena's hair. "Xena, no need to be mean, Ivy we definitely care about your first male interaction in a year," Dal said patting Ivy on the back. "Yeah yeah, you guys are hilarious," Ivy grumbled opening her bag of spicy Cheetos and started eating, trying to ignore her friends' sarcastic comments.
The group chatted and helped each other with their homework before they were interrupted by a group of brunettes, giggling and gossiping loudly though the sign in the school garden permits loud talking. The group tried to ignore the girls but sadly they were soon noticed by one of the girls, Ophelia. The girls walked up to the group, with an obvious smirk. "ELIIII OMG HIII." one girl cheered, "why didn't you tell me you were here, we could've hung out." she quipped, sitting next to Elio and resting her hand on his shoulder. "Uhh well, I'm kinda hanging out with my friends.." Elio replied awkwardly motioning to his group of friends. "Oh I didn't notice them, who are your new friends Eli?" she queried with a sly smirk, looking down at the girl on Elio's lap. Xena sat up quickly and gave the girl an unnoticeable glare. "I'm Xena," she huffed before putting out her hand for the brunette to shake. "What a strange name.. I'm Ophelia, Elio's best friend," Ophelia teased unknowingly. The entire friend group looked at Elio confused as they've never heard the name Ophelia being mentioned except for in the boy's group chat. "Anyways Eli, I'd like to get to know your friends more, send me their numbers later, see ya later Eli - poo." was the last thing the group heard before the brunettes walked off whispering and giggling amongst themselves.
"So... Eli-poo, what was that about?" Lucas teased, nudging Elio in the shoulder. "What was what?" he replied confused, "You know what we're talking about.. you and Ophelia being besties? Since when was that a thing?" Felix questioned, genuinely interested in his best friend's relationship status. Xena was no longer in the mood to listen to her friends' conversations.. instead, she wondered if Ophelia was the person Elio was texting earlier when he was ignoring her. The bell for the end of break rang and Xena was the first to get up and leave the garden without telling her friends goodbye, leaving them confused.
Xena's POV
I couldn't stand to be around the group any longer... I don't know why but interacting with that bimbo brunette bitch got me so irritable. I just wanted to get this school day over with so I could go back to my dorm and ignore everyone for the rest of the evening but I promised Dalphia and Ivy that I would help them with their homework. Then Elio texted me.. ugh.
(Author's Note: We haven't updated this story in so long but like I'm only posting a new chapter cause Siddhi (one of the "writers") is being an ass but like ya. I'm not even gonna bother to check if it doesn't have any spelling mistakes or anything.)
