The almond shaped eyes of the brunette glistened in the star-light as the blue haired god walked away slowly. "I'm sorry, my love, but I have already risked so much by loving a lowly like you. I'm sorry to leave you like this, and so suddenly, but I must go back to the stars. Don't miss me."

The latter is left crying at the bottom of the marble, cold staircase, as the blue haired walks up, going back to his place with the gods. "Y-You promised," the little one choked out. His brown waves messing up as he tries to regain his footing.

"God's and Goddesses have no place with mortal's like you Choi Do-yun, I hope you understand you knew what you were getting yourself into when I told you the truth."

"I-I should've never met you! Y-you told m-me our love w-was real!"

"You're so gullible."

Taehyun quickly closes the old book, afraid to read any more. How could Jeeho do something so heart-retching to Do-yun? They were each other's whole life, their everything's. Jeeho was going to leave the gods to live a beautiful life in a cottage in Do-yun's hometown.

Was it truly all a lie?

The blonde closes his eyes, and imagines the lore being true, and being in Do-yun's shoes. The brown-haired in the book had connected to him to a point the blonde felt pity for him. This is why love could not exist in the real mortal world. It's too easy to fall in love with the wrong person.

"Kang, you've been in here for 2 hours, get your ass outta here."

Taehyun is startled by the intruder, quickly closing the old book and twisting around quickly in the chair. The elderly man raises an eyebrow at him, a questioning glare piercing through his eyes.

"Yes Gaon-ssi, sorry to disturb your time. Is it really already 6 p.m.?"

Gaon gives Taehyun a curt smile, motioning toward the old wooden door. Taehyun's been coming to this book shop since he was on training wheels, the old man getting less pleasant every time they meet. No matter though, Taehyun knows he owns a soft spot in the old mans heart, as the store really closes at 5 p.m.

"I'd like to purchase this Gaon-ssi, how much will it be."

Gaon hobbles over to the desk Taehyun was sitting at a fumbles at the cover of the book.

"Ah no Taehyun-ah, I've been trying to get this one out of my store for ages, kind of like you," he mutters the last part but Taehyun catches onto it with a small smile. "For my least favorite customer, it's free."

Taehyun lights up at his words and quickly rushes out of the shop.

"Say hi to your son for me Gaon-ssi!"

"Bye-bye Taehyun!"

Taehyun closes the door behind him gently and starts on the side walk toward his loft. Taehyun's never actually met his son, but the elderly man always talks about how he is running around, always causing some type of trouble.

"Hey watch where your going idiot!"

A rough shoulder collides with Taehyuns own, and Taehyun looks up eyebrows furrowed. He could've dropped this book!

"No, how about you watch where your going mister," Taehyun blanches back, only to realize he's talking to a pair of shoulders. He looks up and glares at the boy. He has ocean like eyes and blonde messy hair, almost like puppy.

"Hyunjin hurry up!"

"I'm coming Ji, gimme a moment!"

The man, Hyunjin, looks back down at Taehyun.
