Hello my little book worms! (please excuses my cringe) My name is Nahtiani, I'm 13 and I live in New York. Thank you so much for reading my book, this is actually my first time writing a book so I'm soooo excited! So this book is really like a little test to see if I really want to commit to updating daily and make more books. So what I mean is, this is a short little story. (Also sorry for any grammar errors, please correct me if I do anything wrong.) So without further ado let's begin with the story. (Also I'll be updating the story every Friday)

It's was always my dream to go to the Olympics, and perform on live television. I love gymnastics, it was my life. I've practice countless hours every single day for as long as I can remember. But none of that mattered no thanks to my Grandma. So it was two days before my Olympic tryouts, we went to our grandma's house to drop off a present because, she recently just got released from the hospital after her brain tumor surgery. So we pulled into her drive way to notice all her plants where dead, which was unusual because she loves taking care of plants. I've always had an amazing bond
with my grandma but, ever since the surgery I hadn't really seen her, so I was really excited to see her.

As I slowly walked up her driveway I noticed that her door was cracked open. I walked in, to see her cooking in the kitchen.

With cheer in my voice I shouted "hello Grandma!"

She replied with " Olivia, Olivia please sit sit".

I never really disobeyed my grandma so I sat as told.

    "What's cooking Gramma?" I replied.

She said "oh I'm just trying a new chicken recipe dear".

"Oh that sounds tasty" I said as I smelled an unpleasant smell.

Then I said "What kind of chicken?".

    "Cooked chicken" she replied.

"Oh where did you-" "did you say cooked chicken?" said my mom after she cut me off.

    "Yes dear" she replied.

Then my mom said "Olivia dear go help me get grandma's present from the trunk please".

"Oh right" I said after getting out of my seat.

As I walked to the trunk of the car my mom said "wait".

Then "she said listen to me you CAN NOT eat grandma's chicken".

I asked "why not".

She replied with "I just don't think it's a good idea for Gramma to be cooking right now". So I took her advice and grabbed Grandma's present and went inside. There I gave her her present and sat down.

"A present" she said "how thoughtful". Then she opens the bag, to her surprise it was a puppy! Ever sense my grandpa passed away two years ago she has been pretty lonely.

Her face lit up with excitement, i've never seen my grandma so happy after grandpa die. Then the buzzer for the chicken went off.

"I better get that" my Grandma said as she closed the bag with the puppy in. Then she turned off the timer and open the oven and pulled out the chicken. It looked a little odd but it was a new recipe so I shrugged it off.

Then she said "try try it's good".

I said "oh no grandma I'm not that hungry".

With anger in her voice she said "eat its good".

I replied with "I'll just take it home and eat it when I'm hungry"

    "No" she demanded

With fear in my voice I said "ok". My Grandma was never this pushy she would always let me have a choice but this time it was different. So and I grabbed a piece of the chicken. It was really soft, to soft. I took a bite, and to my surprise I heard a crunch!? So I immediately spit the chicken out. Then I gagged.

"Mmhmm that's some good chicken" I lied

"OLIVE" my mom yelled. I looked down at my plate and to my surprise THE CHICKEN WAS ALIVE. It started blinking aggressively, and it's started WIGGLING?!
