Hannah pov

what the frick was i doing back there?! i guess all those times i did nothing but watch walking dead for 3 straight hours finally came in handy.

crap everyone is staring at me… i can understand why though…. i mean i kinda just impaled a child..

“Thanks Hannah.” Kelly totally surprised me! Everyone but Mia and Isabella were staring at me dumbfounded.

Mia was staring at the now completely murdered child, probably thinking the same thing as Isabelle, Kelly and I.

This is it. The Zombie Apocalypse. It’s finally happening. Maybe i will get to meet Rick! (walking dead reference, my friend hannah wants to marry him and i got dibs on carl)

“Hannah……. WHAT DID YOU DO” Anna said.

“What did you not do Anna, and the rest of you. Its clear what is happening here.” Mia said getting kinda pissed off and excited at the fact that--

“Guys the world is ending. I don't even understand how this is happening.” isabelle said, all eyes on her, utterly confused by the situation.

“Anyways guys, lets just go back to Kelly’s house, and tell Chloe’s dad everything that happened, He is there with fudge right chloe?” Danielle said clearly traumatized.

“Y-Yeah. He is…. Lets go.” Chloe muttered while speeding up the hill on the bike she borrowed.

Sara pov

On our way up Kelly’s street i noticed one of her neighbors had a blank expression on his face, and lifeless eyes. I started to put the pieces together.

How did they not catch on yet? Maybe they are just trying to pretend it didn't happen, of won't happen. I mean, who would want it to

Besides the lunatics in this friend group. Obviously Isabelle, Kelly, Hannah, Mia and I all know what's going on, and we just kinda accepted it.

“Guys.” is said still staring at the strange wandering man with white eyes as is pulled into Kelly’s driveway. “That guy has…. blood on his mouth… and white eyes… he just seems to be wandering up and down the street.”

“Sara please, we all know what's going on so why don't we just hurry up and get away from it.” Isabelle said.

We all kinda did this awkward walk-jog-thing inside Kelly’s house and shut the garage. Just as it started to close, it started slowly walking over, increasing its hobble with every limp.

“Holy crap its coming!” Chloe said as she stood with a blank expression of fear on her face.

From behind me, Mia grabbed on of Ray’s baseball bats from the garage and whacked it on the head.

“Shit i didn't think that would work!” Mia said as the thing by her feet started to moan.

“Oh….. well i guess i will need to hit harder next time on comes at us.”

Yep. Mia knows whats up.

No ones pov

The garage fully closed by the time the mysterious wandering man got up off the floor. When they got inside, no one physically harmed, Kelly noticed something beyond terrible.

Chloe’s dad, who was sitting on the couch by the front door, has been scratched.

Kelly nodded at the only ones who have accepted the situation and sprinted upstairs.

“Hey dad. You got the fudge?”

“Yeah Chloe i got the fudge.” he said with tears forming in his eyes. “Chloe just remember that i love you, and tell your mom when you see her okay?”

Chloe noticed the scratch on his upper arm that looked like it resembled what could be done by human fingers. She then knew what Kelly was getting from upstairs.

Kelly came back from upstairs with something in a type of a case with straps around her body.

Out of what seemed like nowhere, she just said,”I'm sorry Paul, but its already too late for you, i am going to have to do this, for Chloe’s sake, and yours.”

Paul just nodded and accepted his fate.

Chloe looked away with tears in her eyes as her father, oh her dear father, was decapitated by a now crying Kelly.

She used none other than her dual samurai swords, that were given to her by her father for her ninth birthday.
