The Magicks

Ms.Jenny arrived at the Elementary school, it was 2:30, ending time. She walked down the hallway where she looked through a window and saw the bully kid in the nurse room.

"I need you to stay calm" A sheriff voice said.

"Stay calm? Why the hell should I stay calm, when a Magick freak hurt my son?" A female voice says. "I want this settled. Do your job and arrest that Magick Freak"

Ms.Jenny and the Principle walked in the class room, where Rosalyn was sitting at a desk with her arms crossed.

Ms.Jenny took a seat next to her daughter "Are you alright?"

Rosalyn nodded.

"So, what happened?"

"I warned him, three times" Rosalyn held up three fingers "to give be my stuff back, but he wouldn't listen, he got what came to him" Rosalyn looks at her mother.

"The Some of the students they saw Rosalyn hit Jimmy(the bully kid) pretty hard. Like she knew what she was doing" The Principle says.

"And let me guess, those Students were humans?" Rosalyn looks at her Principle.

Her Principle nods.

"The humans stand up for their own kind, no matter how much they were in the wrong against us Magick folk" Rosalyn scoffed.

"Listen, Rosalyn-" The Principle says "-Your one of my top favorite students, always hardworking and outgoing all the time, even when your causing unlikely mischief. And I can't say, that Jimmy, didn't get what was coming to him, but I don't tolerate fighting, Magick or Human"

"He started it, he's a bully" Rosalyn argued back.

"Maybe this is my fault. I taught her to defend herself" Ms.Jenny spoke up.

"Think it's good teaching your daughter to fight?"

"Against bullies like him, yes" Rosalyn mumble to herself.

"No, defend herself, though, yeah"

Rosalyn and her Mother look at each other.

"I can't let this slide, Rosalyn is suspended for three days"

Ms.Jenny nods as she stood up from her seat and shook her hand with the Principal, as Rosalyn just rolls her eyes.

The Wizard Mother and Daughter exit the classroom. As they walked off school grounds Rosalyn spoke up "Your not mad at me are you?"

Ms.Jenny just gave a small smile and spoke up
"Well, as much as I disapprove of fighting, except in self defense, I got a say I'm proud of you for standing up for yourself against bullies like him"

"Thanks Mom"

As they were walking they passed Jimmy's parents talking to the sheriff

"Hey Jenny!"

"All right, stand by the car, Rosalyn"

"Jenny!"

"Mom?"

"Just stand by the car, please"
