Chapter 1: the awakening

Keila's POV:

It's Thursday, almost Friday and we're still in school. Yay,  "Hey Joey, I'm bored" I said laying down on the desk. "Well just draw or read" Jovana put her book down and fake slapped my face.  Class was usually fun, but since its almost the end of the school year we really don't do anything.

"It's so boring, plus it sucks being a girl" I whined. "Shhh" our teacher came up to us. "Keila pick up your head and do something" said our teacher and left.  I blushed from the embarrassment and everyone looked at us. I hate the attention, every time I present I can turn as bright as a tomato.

"You heard her, do something" Jessica said who was sitting next to me. I really don't know how my mind works but whenever I'm bored random things pop out and I don't think before I speak. So I spoke whatever came out from my mouth. "Imagine if we were a guy from our school here?" I said.

"What the heck? That was random" Jovana said. "Well.... Who would you be?" I ignored Jovana's question. "Hmm... I don't know" said Jessica.

"Me too" Jovana said.

"Hmm if you were a guy, your name would be Joe" I said pointing at Jovana.

"And your name will be Jesse" I continued pointing at Jessica.

"Wow Keila really?" They both said at the same time. I just shrug. I really don't know how my mind works but at least the conversation is fun now. "I told ya I'm bored" I said, "touché" Jessica said and continued drawing.

"Ok let's name all the guys into girls and girls into guys" Jovana said.

"Yes, let's start with Brandon" I said. I started to think names.

"Hmm, Brandon.... Brenda?" Jovana said.

"Yeah and what about jacky?" I asked.

"Jack" Jessica said.

"What about my name?" I asked.

"Hm, Keila.... Kyle" said Jovana laughing. "Sweet, we got our boy names" I said and we all laughed.

"Joe, Jesse and Kyle... Wow no wonder why we're single" Jovana joked around. We really don't get offended when we joke about being single because its true.

"Hey imagine if a guy wakes up in my body?" I asked.

"Eww, Ima be like don't you dare use the restroom, don't change or don't do anything stupid" Jessica said.

"I will watch my body the whole time, and imagine they're gonna be like, what are these" Jovana said while touching her boobs. We all laughed so hard that everyone turned around and looked at us.

"We better be quite" Jessica said. We all nodded and continued our usual work.  I couldn't stop thinking about us being as guys, I honestly imagine how it'll be if I was a guy. The bell rung which interrupted my thoughts and left to my next class.

After school I thought about the guy thing again. What if that happened? I thought to myself, that'll be awesome. No more periods, no more wearing bras, no worries about doing my hair, no worries about cramps, and all that stuff.

At night I saw a shooting start passing by. "I wish we all switched gender" I whispered and went straight to bed and that was all I remembered.

It was morning, I woke up, did some stretches and walked around the house. I felt tall this time and a bit more heavy. I must  have ate something heavy last night.  "Hey Sammy" I said to my sister "who are you?!" My sister said in shock as if I wasn't human.

"What are you talking about? I'm your sister, duh" I chuckled. She must be half asleep or something.

"Then why are you a boy?" She asked with a sassy voice. "What? a guy?" I ran towards a mirror and saw myself as a guy. Whoa I am a guy, a good looking one too. I touched my hair and winked at the mirror.

I went towards my room, grabbed my cellphone and dialed Jovana's number, "dude guess what!" I said.

"No wait I've got some crazy news too!" Jovana yelled and her voice sounded like a guy. "What?" I asked. "I woke up and I find out I'm a guy! I'm dreaming because you sound like a guy too" she said. poor Joey, she has no idea this is reality.

"No, my wish came true! I'm a guy too" I said with excitement. "You what?! I''' beat the hell out of you. Why the hell you wished to be a guy?!" She yelled.

"Well I wished I was a guy, not you though " I said. "I am not going to school like this" she said. "Cmon, no one will notice us" I said.

"Well fine, I'll go" and she hung up.

Gotta get ready today. I thought.

Okay, I'm guessing you guys are wondering why I'm making this story. Well my friends and I were bored and thought of that idea.

My other friend is making a story to. Her story's name is "The Swap". Read it it's awesome. And Ima try and make this story funny. So hope you laugh
