It had been four days since Belladonna had arrived in Charming and today, she was spending her morning outside in the backyard with Donna, trying to tidy up the jungle of garden which had grown over the last year. Belladonna was a women who enjoyed her luxuries. Whether that was her fast cars or expensive heels, she bathed in it all- but underneath all of that was in fact a simple girl, who also loved nothing more than the simple things in life but gardening however, was definitely not at the top of that list.Whilst Donna dropped the kids off at school this morning, Belladonna made a quick trip to the local hardware store and picked up a few bags of soil, some new tools and of course- some small potted plants. The young women thought it would be a nice activity for the two women to do whilst she was in town, hoping that maybe it could help Donna de-stress a little.
The scorching heat blazed down on the two women as they worked, whilst their knees dug into the damp soil as they worked on de-potting the plants before moving them into the freshly dug holes along the flower bed. "Do you mind picking the kids up today? I've got to stop by Opes work later for some uh.. documents." Donna asked, as she moved to sit back on her heels watching as Belladonna patted the soil around the small budding bush she had just planted.
"Let me grab the documents, Don. Go spend the afternoon with the kids." Shaking her head, Donna moved to protest but was cut short by a stern look from her friend. "It wasn't up for discussion, D. Plus, it'll be nice to see a few old faces." Donna nodded a bit with a guilty smile. "Yeah, it'll probably save us both grief if you do. The last time they caught wind you was back in town and didn't visit, well, let's just say someone was very unhappy about it."
"I'm a women in constant demand, what can I say." She joked, earning a rough shove to the shoulder, "You're so full of yourself, B." Donna exclaimed lightly with a laugh, before pushing herself off her knees and dusting the soil off her jeans. "I'm going to get started on some lunch, you want a drink?" Earning a nod from the young women, Donna moved to head inside, "Oh- and B?" Donna called out suddenly. "Yeah?" Belladonna replied.
"Maybe take a shower or something before you eat. You look like you just lost a fight with Mother Nature- oh! and you smell like shit too." Gasping in shock, the young blonde grabbed a handful of soil and hurled it in the direction of the laughing brunette who made a quick dash for the back door and into the safety of her home, missing the back of the crisp white singlet Donna wore by only a few centimetres, "You cheeky shit!" Belladonna shrieked with wide eyes, before breaking out into a fit of giggles.
After finishing up in the garden, Belladonna made her way inside to the guest bedroom where she changed out of her now dirt covered shorts and tank top, swapping them for a cropped black long sleeve with a deep v-neck and some skin tight blue jeans. Running a hand through her long blonde locks, Belladonna checked the time on her watch before heading downstairs. "Hey B, your phone was ringing like crazy whilst you was upstairs." Donna called out as the blonde reached the kitchen. Bella's brows furrowed in confusion as she moved to check the screen of her smartphone, her eyes ghosting over the device quickly before pushing it deep within the back pocket of her jeans. "It was nothing important- Hey, I was thinking we could take the kids to that old cinema we used to hit up just outside Lodi this weekend. Kens been talking about watching that new superhero film they just released." Nodding her head in agreement, Donna moved to dish the two women up some lunch. "Yeah that sounds good actually, god I haven't been there in years."
"Neither. I sure as hell have some good memories of that place though." Pointing her spoon in Bella's direction, Donna nodded her head with a grin on her face, "Oof- Yeah you do! Remember Cameron LaHolme? He went in for a kiss and ended up with a fist in his face."
"Till this day, I still have no fucking idea why Ope and his disciples beat the shit out of him." Bella muffled out with a mouthful of food. Rolling her eyes, Donna couldn't help but sigh, "You mean why Jax beat the shit out of him? Opie was just backup." Belladonnas face scrunched up at this, "Teller? Christ, he was such a dick in school. Why on earth would he beat up Cameron?" Donna smirked slightly at this with a shrug of her shoulders, "You was always so oblivious to the soft spot he had for you, I see nothings changed."
