ˊ ˗ '"That should be everything, baby." Gemma spoke whilst sliding the orange manila folder across the small wooden desk, towards the blonde. Grasping at the flimsy package, Belladonna stood from her seat before leaning across the wooden desk and placing a light kiss on the older women's cheek, "Thanks for that, Gem. Piney about? I owe the old man a visit." Sliding her glasses off the bridge of her nose, Gemma leant back in her desk chair whilst sending the young women a nod.
"Clubhouse. Listen, there's a family dinner this Sunday- and I expect you to be there. Donna and the kids are invited, but I doubt the miserable bitch will show. I'm sure you can take care of that though, right baby?" Gemma questioned, whilst staring at Belladonna blankly. Belladonna felt the smile drop from her face as her expression turned cold, "That miserable bitch doesn't owe anybody fuck all. She doesn't want to show? Then that's up to her- I won't force her to go and you sure as hell won't either." Belladonna glared before moving towards the office door, "You better watch that attitude, sweetheart. I think you're forgetting just who you're talking to." Gemma warned, earning a taunting smirk in return, "I'm talking to the same women who taught me that family is everything. Now, I'm going to find the old man before he drowns himself in cheap tequila and pussy." Stated the blonde as she pulled open the office door and stepped outside, not before sending a wink over her shoulder, "See you Sunday, Gem."
"Pushy bitch." Gemma mused to herself quietly, biting back a smirk as she watched the young women she had known for going on twenty-five years, strut her way across the lot and towards the clubhouse. Belladonna Jones was like a breath of fresh air for Gemma Teller-Morrow. It was like looking at herself in a mirror twenty years ago, only this time with blonde hair. Gemma and Damien Jones, Belladonnas father, had been family friends growing up. So you best believe when Damien lost his wife not too long after the birth of his daughter, Gemma took it upon herself to step in and be that mother figure that the young girl needed every so often. Moving her attention away from the blonde women, Gemma turned to focus back on the filing documents in front of her only to catch sight of a few certain sons, all whose attention seemed to be solely focused on the retreating figure of Belladonna Jones, who continued to be just as oblivious now, as she had been when she was younger.
"Well, this should be interesting." Gemma hummed, smirking.
Sauntering her way across from the office and past the long row of various sized motorcycles that led towards the clubhouse, the blonde women allowed her eyes to drift across the lot slowly and towards the garage where she was met the sight of a few unfamiliar men working in amongst a few different vehicles. Catching the stares of a few from afar, Belladonna paid no mind to them as she descended behind the large, dark oak door where she welcomed by the overwhelming yet all too familiar smell of crisp leather, cigarettes and cheap perfume.
One look towards the bar and Belladonna found just the man she was looking for. Perched besides the bar with a bottle of Jameson's in his hand and an oxygen tank not too far away sat Piney Winston, who was accompanied by Tig and a man she didn't think she'd ever met before. It was hard to tell for sure, but from the back of his profile he did not look familiar at all. Her heels clicked beneath her weight as she walked, running a hand through her hair before she was close enough to place a gentle hand upon the older mans shoulder, making her presence known among the three men.
"Jesus Christ, old man. Might as well get that shit running through an IV at the rate you're going at." Piney Winston turned his head slowly before settling his glare on the teasing blonde besides him, only to feel his eyes widen in surprise. "Hm, surprised to see me, Pops?" She counties teasingly, moving to seat herself against the top of Tigs thigh as she turned to face the stunned old man in front of her, only to earn a soft slap to the back of the head as Piney scowled at the young women.
"Surprised? You almost gave me a damn heart attack you little shit. You just here for my daughter in-law or are you actually here to see your family, Belladonna Rose?" Piney grunted as he took a swig of his bottle, before sending a disappointed look towards the women he'd known since she was a little girl. Wincing slightly at his tone, her face twisted into a small frown as she sent a pointed look towards old man.
"I'm here because your son was a fucking idiot and has left his struggling wife to deal with all your club bullshit, Piney. Now are you going to give your favourite girl a proper welcome home or what?" Grumbling under his breath something about her being a pain in his ass, Piney reached forward and gave the smaller women a tight hug, pulling her forward from where she sat on the tip of Tigs thigh as he whispered softly how he was happy she was home before releasing his hold and waving his arm in the air lazily catching the attention of a young male from behind the bar. "Sack! Get the young lady here a drink of our finest whisky would ya?" Shaking her head in protest, Bella stood up from her seat on Tigs leg and moved to place a kiss on Pineys cheek.
"I'll take you up on that drink another time, old man. I gotta head out, only dropped in to say hi and pick up some shit for Don." Nodding in understanding, Piney grunted out a goodbye as she made her way towards the exit. "You gonna be at Gems on Sunday, Doll?" Tig called out from behind her as she turned around, walking backwards whilst sending the curly haired man a nod with a cheeky grin, "Maybe."
Turning to walk back outside, Bella pulled out her cellphone from the back pocket of her jeans to check the time, 2:36pm. "Shit." She muttered, shoving the smart device back into her pocket before pulling down her sunglasses and moving across the lot towards her car. Unaware of the person sat on the hood of her car, Bella turned to pull her keys out of the pocket which didn't contain her phone.
"She wasn't wrong." A voice called, causing the blonde attention to snap towards the figure of a man she had not seen since she was seventeen. He still had that same cocky smile she remembered, and she hated it. She scrunched her face up slightly at the sight of Jackson Teller, the boy she'd partially grew up with.
"Teller. You got, well- old." Earning a raised eyebrow in return, the older male let his eyes drift up and down the blonde women in front of him slowly, tilting his head slowly as his stare met hers again.
"We know "old" has never been an issue for you before, Darlin." He teased, folding his arms across his chest as he leaned back. Narrowing her eyes at the male before her, Belladonna twisted the keys in between her nimble fingers with a bored look before letting out a sigh.
"You after something, Jackson?"
"Ma came out and said you was in town, wanted to see for myself I guess. How you been, Rosie?" Rosie, the nickname the young girl earned for herself when she was a little girl, all because of her rosy cheeks.
"Good, Jax. Yourself? Heard you got a kid on the way." Bella asked as she crossed her arms over her chest with a small grin. "Donna?" Jax questioned with a knowing smile, earning a nod.
"She's really happy for you." Belladonna mentioned, before sending a look towards the blonde male.
"Well whose the unlucky women then? I'll be sure to send my condolences." She teased earning a laugh from Jax as he pushed himself from off the car.
"You're still a cheeky shit, aren't you sweetheart?" He mused, now standing before the girl. Belladonna craned her neck to look up at Jax, who stood a good head or two taller than her. Patting his arm softly, the young women turned to open the drivers side door before resting against it with a pointed look.
"Some things just don't change do they, Jackson."
Slipping in behind the wheel, Belladonna pressed the push to start before winding down her window. Resting her arm against the door, Belladonna peaked up at Jax with a pointed look.
"On a serious note though, Jax, Congratulations. I'm sure you'll make an okay daddy." Sending one last teasing grin his way, Belladonna pealed out the Teller-Morrow lot without a single glance behind her. Glancing towards the folder on the passenger seat besides her with a frown, she couldn't help but wonder what was inside- especially since it was addressed to a place which wasn't Donna's home, but somewhere she was very familiar with.
