Afraid ( 1D fanfic )

Chapter 2

When I walk into my photography class everybody stops talking and look my way. I squeeze my eyes shut for a second then make my way to the front of the class. I won't let anybody ruin this class for me. I love photography, it makes me feel like I could do and say anything I want. The chair I chose was unfortunately squeaky but it would be embarrassing to move. I get embarrassed by everything. I tug my sweater sleeves down and play with my hands.

I quietly walk into my house trying not to be seen by my mother or her fag of a boyfriend. When I make it into my room, I sigh in success. I set my Trimble print backpack down and walk over to my desk. I look over to my bed at see their is someone in it. I pull the England inspired bed sheets back and see my little brother covering his face. "Caleb! What's wrong ? I attempt to tickle him but it doesn't work. I sit his small body up and pry his hands off of his face. I gasp covering my mouth.

I carefully pat his bloody eyebrow with a wet towel. He wouldn't say anything to me but let me clean him up.

" Jess"

He whispered. I nodded kissing his warm forehead. Jess is my moms boyfriend. They were both constantly high and it disgusts me! Every since my dad died she had horrible depression. Then started drugs, Jess was her dealer. I cuddle him in my arms. Being five he was quite small and it hurt me horribly to know he was hit. I let him sleep in my bed while I stayed up and worked on my One direction blog. Tumblr and Instagram are my home. I feel like I can be myself, and I actually have the best friends anyone could hope for on their. Before I went to sleep I tweeted Niall about my day, like I do everyday. I actually feel that he gets them. Even though I never get a response. I paddle over to my queen sized bed and slip in next to Caleb. I pull the duvet up to my face and let the darkness take over.
