Ok, first one-shot ever so congrats to me!! And I'll have some stuff at the end where if I changed the way it was going or something. They are going to be at the end.

Also, beware that even though there is no messing around, or sex, or anything, there is mention of it right around the end literally. Nothing too bad I promise.

Stiles POV:

Turns out that sometimes no matter how many times you ask, how many times you beg everyone ends up leaving you behind. So kids my advice expect to be alone and to look out for yourself. God that sounds so weird, giving advice to kids when I'm just a kid myself, given I am 17 but still. It doesn't matter because it just doesn't.  Let me tell you how I got to this conclusion.

Flashback:

"Hey, Der! See what I did there, I didn't call you sourwolf like always, just because I know you said that you don't like it, although I know you secretly love it." I say but I am stopped short by an empty room.

"Der! Sourwolf! Der Bear! Grumpy Wolf! Come on this is not funny, where are you? Please put your stuff back in your room. I'll cook, I promise. I will even cook your favorite meal no matter how hard it is. I'll clean around, I'll clean your room and fold your clothes. I will even clean your bathroom. I will do anything you want." I say because I really hate cleaning but I will do it just to bring him back to us... to me.  But by now I know that Derek really left and I am not sure that he will come back but he will try to bring Derek back.

Mostly because the pack needs him. But I need him too, I need to see him and smell him and hug him and bother him, I need a friend that pays attention to me and cares for me no matter what. Because although Sourwolf is well sour and grumpy, he gets a pass because he is nice to me. Well he started being nice to me, I think is the cause of Scott but hey, as long as he talks to me, I do not care for the reason he does it.  The pack needs their leader back. So I call him every day he's gone, every day he is missing.

"Hey Sourwolf again, I don't know where you are or what are you doing, but you need to come back, for the pack of course. No matter how much this pains me to say, Scott is not ready to lead, he cannot lead us, not like you can. He needs you, to learn how to because Scott is still in high school he is not supposed to lead and hold such a position that is stressful and tiring. In fact, we all are in high school we are meant to do stupid stuff and bullshitting around. We need someone who knows what they are doing and that's you not us. Because even if you were not meant to be an alpha, your mother made sure to give you guys some type of training if anything were to happen. And well she left you guys, well you, I guess cause Peter is kinda cuckoo. Lol, do not tell him I said that, he would kill me. For real this time. Anyway, I found some books that she left for you and Peter too but I already gave him his. Talking about Peter, by the way, he is doing better, a lot better. But he misses you, he misses his nephew." I tell him well his phone because he doesn't answer.

He was going to say that he needed him but it does not seem fair. Plus Derek could not possibly like him, there's just no way. I'm defenseless and kind of useless, plus I ramble a lot if you could not tell already you know.  I am not special. Another reason is that he's not gay or bi. As much as I d not like it, that fine piece of meat is not mine as much as I wish it was mine it is not. That is a sad fact and reality that I have accepted.

Time Skip brought by Stiles just being Stiles:

This is why I know everyone leaves you. I tried so hard to ignore what I feel for Derek but it is impossible. He is too handsome, and even though he does not want to show anyone that he is nice. I see it, he cares for everyone. Maybe that is why left. Maybe he wanted to protect the pack because he believes he is a lost cause, a lone wolf although that part I do not disagree with. I mean that man has the hots but he is pretty lonely.
