JADE.

I WAS TERRIFIED as well as enraged. I was so disoriented as I hit the bed because of the impact. Something cold touched my wrist and I heard a clanking sound. Ivan was on top of me and my wrists were being yanked above my head before I could make sense of what was going on.

"Let me go!"

I tried to wriggle free, but my wrists were held together. My mouth opened wide in surprise when I looked up.

"Handcuffs?! You're restraining me with handcuffs?"

He walked away from me without saying anything. I tried to move my hands away, but they were firmly gripped. The handcuffs were fastened to something behind the headboard.

"Take this off me, Ivan! I'm not your prisoner."

"You talk too much," he said as he rubbed his face in mild irritation.

"Well, if you don't want to hear my voice, let me go!"

"Oh, I want to hear your voice, but only when you can't keep your eyes open and stop your legs from shaking."

My mouth hung open in surprise. He spoke that as if he wasn't just insinuating something else.

"What? Cat cut your tongue?" He came closer.

"Ivan, please let me go," I said more calmly.

"I would have if you had asked nicely," he said caressing my face. "But I'm really angry now, so you're staying a day longer. I prepared breakfast for you and what I got in return was two slaps on the face."

I pouted. "Okay. Perhaps I took it too far, but it's your fault for not letting me go. I promised to see Spencer today-"

"Your nonexistent boyfriend?"

"He is my boyfriend," I pressed on. "And we're getting married very soon. Which is why I need to be far away from you. I already feel guilty as it is for being this close to you."

"Quite disheartening that your plans aren't going to go as planned. Very unfortunate."

"I won't let you come into my life and  ruin everything, Ivan."

"But you already did," he said, standing up.

"Where are you going? Take these off please."

"No." He gave me a peck on the lips and licked over it.

"Ew!" I tried to clean off his spit on my lips, but I couldn't move properly.

I heard his chuckle and him leaving the room.

"Idiot!" I exhaled deeply. "How did I get myself into this," I muttered to myself.

MINUTES LATER...

Ivan came back with a bowl. "How are you feeling, sweetheart?"

"Ivan, why are you doing this?"

"Why? Hmm...let me see." He sat beside me before speaking again. "I never imagined I'd see you again, but I did. I can't think of any reason why I should let you go."

My heartbeat increased. "Because I should have my freewill Ivan."

"Your freewill doesn't matter here."

"I hate you so much right now," I said angrily.

"And I love you, Jay," he said and kissed me.

I almost got lost in the kiss because I let myself get moved by his words, then I remembered what he was doing to me. I bit on his lip hard and didn't release my hold. I heard him groan and try to pull away, but I was letting go. I felt his hand wrap around my neck tightly. When he wasn't reducing his hold, I let go, coughing.
